I come here solely for the great deals on meat

Generally a great store however this morning I came in and as I was going through the deli section could overhear a staff member complaining about another staff member being out of uniform, upon checking out I notice the young gentlemen serving was wearing a plain coloured t shirt do I asked him about his uniform and he politely explained that due to a staff member being ill he was required to come in at the last minute,

Honestly I hope he is viewed highly by management as to me this is a staff member willing to go above and beyond for his company !! The 5 stars is Definitely a shout out to this legend and I hope the other staff member changes her attitude

great fresh specials

Popped in to grab some specials, chicken breast fillets. At the checkout the lady pickup that they were priced incorrectly from the deli department and saved me about $20. With kids running around after school time its not something I would have picked up til I had gotten home. So big thank you to the checkout lady today

Great meat prices, lovely staff. Beautiful layout of shop and it makes it so easy to find what you're after for your groceries. Staff are talkitive and genuine, hard workers!

The staff here are amazing. I was very amazed at how respectful i was treated after finding out i was i held all these young girls back tonight by almost 15 minutes while i dawdle around their shop. Not once did they ask me too hurry up or leave and i was treated lovely while at the checkout. It wasn't until i asked what time they cloae that the young lady politely replied about 12 minutes ago maam. And with a smile. Well done Foodland IGA Hackham, on employing respectful young ladies with manners. I will be shopping here more often and i promise i won't hold your staff back late again. 😍😍😍❤❤❤

Fantastic prices on meats and often great specials on fruits or vegetables. Deli items, like Fetta cheese, are often at a bargain price, too! Always worth a short detour off main south road for this local secret.

Always found them friendly like a local shop should be, They try keep prices down while doing best to keep quality up, like all IGA S,markets doing best to stick variety that big 2 wont bother with yes much more variety than C's & Ws, Value & Service deserves more than 4.

Shopped here for years. Friendly staff. Not too big so can always find things. Good prices. Good deli fruit and veg eggs and meats. Everything you need.

Great fresh produce specials

This place always have good sales and put out old produce at affordable prices. I like that they would rather sell it at inexpensive cost to the public then through it out. Thank you foodland and for your happy server's

This great Foodland store is in an impoverished area. You can't get much cash out for fear of robberies, they keep their tills low according to staff. Now you have the background, in contrast to that this store is amazing. They have great cuts of meat, and very well priced. We bought porterhouse steak there for $8.99 a few weeks ago- the best quality melt in mouth delicious. When they have an item on special ie hotdogs they have the buns on special too ie Lamb legs for roasting, then spuds, pumpkins etc. I like the staff, and I like their chicken kebabs- various flavours- and all meat, not watered down with slices of veg- some times as low as 69c a stick. And the Australian Ham off the bone, oh, cut thick like you cut it at home for Christmas, just amazing less than 13 bucks a kilo . This is a store doing well and doing the neighbourhood good. Drop in and see our friend Rahne he's a laugh and the girls. Great value for money , nice and clean and top staff.

They have a broad selection of rotating specials, and employ one of cheeriest cashiers I've ever met. It takes the stress out of shopping with the kids when the cashier is willing to have a chuckle with you instead of glaring at your kids.
