Love the productss at Smiggle, but put off by severe lack of customer service.
Came in today (18/9/21) at 16:20 hours with the intention of splurging a bit of my savings on their minions range of products to add to my collection. The sales assistant REFUSED to offer any greeting, she didn't even look up to acknowledge me or my partner, despite being 2 feet away from us. Keeping in mind the store was completely EMPTY. My partner and I were talking about 1 product in particular and stated many times how there's no pricing for said item. It was slight attempt to catch the attention of the sales staff who carried on pretending she was too busy to acknowledge me. Still there were no other customers in store and the store "assistant" continued to stare down at her til. I ended up loudly exclaiming to my partner that I "will go somewhere else where I will be noticed". When exiting the store, I finally received some acknowledgement from your "Assistant" who sarcastically and passive aggressively shouted "Thankyou". I may not look like I have much due to dressing in daggy clothes but on my last visit to Smiggle I spent over $100 on your products. Maybe don't judge a book by its cover.

EDIT = Received a follow up regarding my experience from the General Manager, a lovely lady who discussed the above issues with myself. Was very happy to receive her email and that she took my feedback seriously and plans to respond accordingly. The general manager was polite, kind, apologetic and understanding regarding how I felt. Another star added for the lovely customer service I wished I'd received from my initial visit on 18/9/21
