Brought my vision for the cake together than I imagined it. Not only did it look magnificent, I had so many of our guest tell us it was the best tasting wedding cake they had ever had - 100% agree, went with red velvet and salted caramel and allowed a later change of having the favours alternate so both flavours were given to each guest, WIN! So moist and the perfect level of sweetness to follow the rest of the meal. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Xo

Courtney and the team at Sugar Plum Fairy Cakes made the most incredible cake for my wedding last weekend. Not only was it amazingly beautiful, but it tasted so good too! Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how cool the cake was, and they all loved eating it too! The lemon and raspberry tier was a particularly big hit. Courtney was amazing to deal with and was very responsive to my questions. I will definitely be ordering all my cakes from them again!!

Loved this very special cake we asked Courtney to make for our very special daughter! Our daughter only eats the icing anyway though so I chose flavours that I really like and went with the combination of chocolate cake with lemon curd in between layers. We added fresh berries to serve and it was the most amazing cake ever!! All the parents at the party raved about the flavours and none of them could believe quite how good it tasted.
Can’t wait for the next birthday in our family so that we can get another cake!!

I found Sugar Plum Fairy after attending a baby shower where they did the cake and new I needed them for our wedding! They did our wedding cake and cupcakes and did not disappoint! They were beautiful and delicious, our guests looooved them and raved about them for days after. Not sure I can wait until our anniversary to eat the last piece in our freezer!

Ordered a cake and Gluten free cupcakes for my sons birthday party last weekend and the only brief Courtney was given was to create a Harry Potter themed cake. We left the creativity up to her.
She did not disappoint! Looked amazing and tasted amazing with rave reviews from everyone who tried it. And one very excited little boy.
I even sent some to my husbands work the next day and they all loved it also.
We will definitely be ordering all future event cakes from these ladies. Thank you for doing such a great job.

I have used Sugar Plum Fairy Cakes for over 5 events now. Not only are their cakes, cookies and cupcakes delicious (addictively so!), they are also stunning. I love the choice of flavors and the easy online ordering system they have set up. Courtney the owner is super helpful with answering questions and suggestions and just all round lovely. If you can, I highly recommend checking out their gorgeous shop front in Hall.

I have ordered online before with Sugar Plum Fairy Cakes but now to have it easily available at the shop front location in Hall has been amazing to satisfy our cupcake cravings!

I have asked for Courtney's help numerous times throughout the years, both for my children's birthday cakes and for my workplace celebrations. Every time Courtney does not disappoint, even when I seem to bombard her on some of the more busier months!! The treats are always beautifully designed, (with Courtney customizing according to your preferred pictures) and full of yummy taste. I ordered some sugar cookies for my daughter’s first birthday and they were both stunning and delicious! Exactly what I asked for in terms of colours and styles and just so yummy. We savoured every last one and were all very sad when they were gone! I would absolutely order again and again.

We got our wedding cake made here, sent in a couple reference photos and couple ideas we might like, dropped in our cake topper and left the rest to the pros. We had no idea what the cake would look like on the big day and when we first saw it we were blown away! It was incredible we cannot recommend them enough! Thank you team!

I love going to this little (but mighty) place in Hall. The shop front is absolutely beautiful and so are all the girls who will greet you as you walk in the door. There is fresh flowers, ONA coffee and of course super yummy and stunning cupcakes. Like every week there is some new amazing flavour I need to try. Customer service is outstanding, they are so good at answering all my questions when I needed help to book in a cake too. I really can’t fault them! You can see how much love is put into everything they do there. Such a great place to check out when in Canberra!

Courtney baked our wedding cake! My partner and I were looking for something different where flavour was the absolute most important element - and we got it! Courtney baked us a stunning tiered lamington cake and it was better than we could have ever imagined.
The jam and cream were phenomenal and fresh, the presentation was on point and the cake was moist and easy to eat. Our guests were very very impressed and we received multiple comments after the wedding about it being “the best wedding cake” our guests had ever tasted.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes and requested for them to match the theme of the party I was hosting. Sugar Plum Fairy went above and beyond and made the most gorgeous cupcakes I've ever seen. The cupcakes were also delicious and the ordering and pickup process was very easy.
Without a doubt will be ordering from Sugar Plum Fairy Cakes for any of my future cake needs.

Tiny, but perfectly formed cafe, which is a front for fabulous celebration cakes and other wonderful goodies, also makes incredible coffee.

If you haven’t bought cupcakes/cake/deliciousness from Sugar Plum Fairy Cakes/ Courtney before and you live in Canberra, you really have been living under a rock!! Her beautifully decorated baked goods are Canberra famous and sustained my friends and I during the pandemic. We were already fans pre pandemic when her business was home based. And now she has a beautiful shopfront in Hall!! I highly recommend the drive - I do from time to time when I miss her cupcakes and mind you I live in Conder so that’s commitment to reunite with my favourite cupcakes!

Fantastic service! Used this bakery for International Vet Day, fantastic baked goods, fantastic communication and very good value. Highly recommend!
