Clean and tidy with well-mannered staff who were happy to let me browse and check prices of future purchases

I tried to look for Yuzu sake today and the staff/cashier was a bit rude. She also didnt assist me really well and she was tapping on the screen loudly when she is processing my refund. I’m not sure if Im going back here again. I hope they educate/re-train this kind of staff.

When I arrived, I ask her if they have yuzu sake. I even show the photo of the sake I was looking for and she just told me that they only have regular sake. And just pointed out the shelf. I just look for myself on the shelves for the yuzu sake. Then surprisingly- I found it, I brought it in the counter for payment.

On the counter, I asked her if it is Yuzu sake because the characters are mostly in Japanese, she nodded. (Maybe she didnt hear that Im saying “yuzu”). Then on payment, I’m a bit confused because I paid $69. I told her I thought it was $36 as per the price on the shelf. She told me that it is not yuzu sake. I was confused because I asked her before I pay. Then, we went on the shelves and she got another bottle - she told me that that one is $36. I read the bottle and it says Yuzu sake so I told her yes. Im getting this. I even told her “sorry about that” but she didnt even say anything.

Back on the counter, she even asked me if I still want the one that I am returning. ???
Then, she is tapping the screen with her fingers so loudly when I sad no because i’m looking for Yuzu sake
. Im a bit anxious as this is the first time I am treated like this. Then the receipt for refund was printed. She wrote on the back of the receipt that “customer changed her mind at the store” - i didnt even changed my mind. If she has guided me and located what I am looking for, it will not happen.

Then she just asked me to tap for the payment again with $69. She didnt even told me that it was the refund so I asked her just to double check. So she just nodded. Then I tapped it for my refund. After that she is tapping her fingers loudly again on the screen. after my final payment. I am waiting for the receipt but she didnt give it to me so I requested for it. Then I said thank you.

Worst customer service ever !
An asian girl asking me an id meanwhile i always go there and serve by other and never get asked for an id as i do have a membership there as well.
As i can tell she’s new and never work in hospitality before 👎🏼
What a shame

went there saturday at 7:20, the store was closed. lights on but nobody inside. the businesses hours on the door said the closing time was 8pm. this is the second time i’ve been there with no success.

Retailer only watches his phone and shows unwelcoming manner.

Got there before 7pm on a Sunday but shop already closed.
