My favourite running and hiking gear. Can wear any of the items for a few days without washing, easy to layer, great feel, great colours.
If properly cared for, they last for many wears.

Iomerino t-shirts are the best out on the trails running. Keeps me warm in winter but never overheat. Pop a longsleeve over the top at the end of a run and keep double warm. Mullet socks are so soft and comfortable out running or just for everyday use. Best thing is when wet they dry really quick and don't smell of sweat! So no need to wash after every run! It is expensive but worth it for the quality. Every person I dealt with from the io team are great and always helpful. Would love to try out the leggings next!!!

I found this company at the start of the year and bought one shirt as I normally can’t tolerate merino against my skin. The shirt I received is super soft and I reach for it while at home. I have since added to my travel wardrobe with another shirt, two racer back tanks and the fabric is so soft and non itchy that I also bought a bra.

I have tried other more expensive merino tops but these are the only ones I like so far.

As a trail runner in Australia I have to deal with subzero temperatures during winter and scorching hot summer days. Since stumbling across IoMerino in 2017 I haven’t run in anything else. Perfect gear for freezing cold mornings and equally as suitable for stifling hot days. Light weight, breathable and we’ll suited for any run. Delivery is super fast and customer service is top notch.

Loving these products. I have purchased the Compression leggings and a couple of the "mongrel" long sleeve tops. The compression leggings are soft and comfortable. I have worn them for 20km adventures and for the much shorter dog walks. I find they bead in the rain but keep me warm and dry. I love the designs of the mongrel tops, and was glad when IoMerino brought out one with a 1/4 zip... now for one that has a hood attached (hint hint ;) ) The clothing is durable, and I love that you don't have to wash them each time after being worn, just air them. Very happy with my purchases.

I grew up with my parents always going on about the virtues of wool. I am still wearing it, but it’s a lot thinner now. The ioMerino superfine wool is light, tough, stretchy and goes in the washer any number of times without losing shape. I’ve had one top for 5 years and it still looks new. Colour selection is great with plenty of both muted and vibrant tones to choose from. A good range of sizes too.

Great quality of merino fabric, garments are really well made. Online ordering is easy and I've found my parcels have arrived quickly. On one occasion I had a query & ioMerino were very efficient in responding and fixing the problem for me. I highly recommend them for all your merino wear needs. My favourites are the Altitude range of tops, the Summit jackets and the women's underwear! Excellent Australian owned company!

I love ioMerino gear. I have at least half a dozen of the Altitude zip tops that I wear as a base layer for general wear or while cycling or running all winter long. I don't hike as much as I'd like, but they are perfect for that too and with the collars, they are also smart enough to wear for work on more casual days. I also like wearing them in between seasons over a t-shirt or as a super light top layer on a cooler summer day. The fabric is gorgeous, super soft and so comfy. The colours are lovely, the bright rose in particular makes me happy with how vivid it is. The tops wear and wash extremely well. They are reasonably priced and even better when you can get them on sale. Highly recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough about the ioMerino products. I’ve now purchased a number of products including the arm warmers, trail shirts and thermal base layers and love them all. The quality is amazing and the shape, colour and warmth have all withstood multiple seasons of use. I have my iomerino gear on constant rotation, so it’s really been put to the test, and has never disappointed. I’ll definitely buy again.

All socks are equal in that they go on your feet, but....some socks are better than others and IO Merino socks are the BOMB! I recently purchased a pair of hiking socks and took them for a multi-day hike through the Blue Mountains. Over the 4 days I wore them everyday. So comfy! No smell, no blisters, no worries. I aired them each evening and they were as good as new in the morning. Buy a pair, buy 2 pairs...do it! You won't regret it

I have long and short sleeved tops from ioMerino. I wore them constantly through all of Melbourne’s lockdowns and they are still going strong. Unbelievably well wearing. The best merino tops I have ever had.

Recently travelled in Iceland and wore my mid-layer (Pinnacle 2) for 15 days straight. It kept me comfortable and warm in temperatures of 3-10 degrees celsius. Didn't need washing during our whole trip away. At home in Adelaide, I've been using a Mongrel base layer for cycling on cooler mornings, highly recommended.

I love to run in my IO Merino gear on a cold Canberra morning, or night. The gear is soft, warm and fabulous to wear. My ‘mongrel’ tops always get compliments which makes me feel great, and the compression leggings are the best!

Pricey I know, but superb quality that will last for years. Have several T’s & underwear used hiking the Camino in Spain & rugged trails in USA & UK. Washes easily & dries very quickly. You will not regret the purchase. Great for multilayering in varied climates too.

I have both short and long sleeved tops and they are my favorites. I have an auto-immune disease and these are the only long sleeved tops I can wear, even in winter, as I don't get too hot in them, but they also keep me warm. I'm gradually replacing all my old tops with io Merino. The service has been excellent also.

Io Merino constitutes most of my wardrobe. It does everything the manufacturers claim . Its warm and comfortable and yes it breathes. Even better it's wearable all year and the ability to layer what you wear is looking to be very practical for unpredictability thanks to an erratic climate .

I am obsessed with merino wool and have tried multiple brands . I have purchased several sweat pants and athletic tee shirts from ioMerino. I am continually impressed. The designs are creative, the fit tends to be sporty, the seams and sewing are of high standard, but what stands out is the quality fabric, you can wear it virtually odor free multiple times before washes, even after being sweat soaked (if you give it a rest period between wearings). The garments have kept remarkable shape and color after more than five years of use and abuse. The fabric weave is denser and sturdier than most of my vast collection from an array of manufacturers.

I am so crazy about the sweat pants that I have bought two pairs.
I can use them as attractive lounge wear, do sports in or layer under my un-insulated ski pants . When the AU Dollar is weak relative to the US Dollar, the ioMerino prices are extremely attractive. ioMerino's Australian customer service is way more personal and responsive than with any brand that I have had experience with.
