Sugondha Sea Beach is one of the most beautiful and attractive sea beaches in Cox's Bazar. It is beautiful and very attractive. You can see the Bay of Bengal from here. The waving waters look beautiful. You can enjoy all your day here. Bathing in sea water is another level of enjoyment. People all over the world come here to enjoy its natural beauty. One can enjoy sun rise and set from here. The sound of waves is awesome. You can rest on the chair and enjoy the surrounding environment all the day long.

Real fun is not available during government holidays or sessional times due to huge crowd. But a great place to spend time in the off session

Great beach, good food, but difficult to relax. We stayed in Laboni/Kolatoli. Some hotels are great, like Sayeman. Others are horrendous. A lot of noise from traffic and people. Stunning sunsets! Now much to see. People are very friendly and contact seeking. But it is too much for a tall, European woman like me. People were constantly making contact, asking for my phone number, wanting to talk, begging to take pictures, shouting to me, laughing and staring at me. When walking along the beach, it’s about every third or second minute. In the city streets, a little less. Often, people would just follow us and keep talking. Sometimes the would walk beside us for for 10-20 minutes! We could say “bye bye”, “please leave us alone”, “Please don’t follow us”, or just very clearly gesture the message or completely ignore them, but they would still follow until we escaped into a hotel. Sometimes, there were many people following at the same time. I’d stop, they’d stop and look at their phones or talk to me. When I walked faster, they would also pick up the speed. It’s impossible to have a conversation with my friends because we get interrupt absolutely all the time! I found this very strange. I have been traveling to many places around the world, and seen many people hoping to earn some money from beach tourists, but nothing like this. This is really something else! Is absolutely unbelievable.
When walking in the villages behind the beach town, it was much better. There, we could have normal, interesting conversations with kids and adults, maybe buy a fruit, they would point out that I am tall, and laugh a little, I would express my admiration for the food and the beach, and when the conversation was finished, we could continue walking alone. This was also easier in Dhaka. I actually found Dhaka more relaxing, because of this. Maybe people there are more busy, or not as curious about Europeans.

It’s beyond my imagination to see a huge number of people visiting this place. I can say, about 10-15 thousand in a small area. Yes, it is a nice beach, many stalls selling food and other goods. For a normal day, I can say, it’s extremely over crowded.
