Milestone College is a KG–XII, Bangla and English medium, co-educational private school in Uttara Model Town, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This institution is notorious for applying physical and mental torture on students.

a number of educationists, had been discussing for a long time about the establishment of an educational institution of international standard. Among us, some have worked and are still working in universities and the others have worked at renowned colleges and cadet colleges as professors & principals. In the light of our long experience, we have perceived that our children, despite securing good results and being meritorious, cannot attain the expected results because of excessive coyness. They are introvert; they know but cannot express their thoughts. Moreover, having completed their education in Bangla Medium, most of these students remain weak in writing and speaking in English. As a result, when they go abroad for higher studies, they fall in deep water. Even in our own country, they fail to get a good job in the multinational companies.

On the other hand, our students attending the British Education curriculum, i.e. the students of ‘O’ level & ‘A’ level face a great hardship while competing for admission in the BUET, Public Universities, Medical Colleges, etc. These students have segregated themselves from the age-old traditions & customs in respect of dress, way of life, food habits and manners. This is mainly due to the British curriculum followed at ‘O’ & ‘A’ level Exams. Where our students are taught British culture, heritage & tradition. They leran British history, geography, economy, way of life etc. but not those of Bangladesh.

Against this backdrop of confusion and disorder in the education system of the country, we ventured to establish an ideal educational institution in the year 2001 named Milestone College at Gareeb-e-Newaz Avenue, Sector 11 of Uttara Model Town, Uttara, Dhaka 1230. The building where we started is owned by Milestone family and now it is used as the Headquarters of Milestone.

This college is Boarding College. I like it. This place is very nice. there are big Football Field.

A good Institute of Bangladesh, Teachers and students are very creative. It has ranking in SSC and HSC result.

Milestone College is approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, vide their letter no. sha 9168 (part) 313, dated, 18 May 2002 and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, Letter no. 1079 dated 24 July 2002.

I can't forget the fog mornings of my college days. I used to go to college very early in the morning at 6.30 AM. Having the first cup of coffee from the cafeteria, I used to look at the beautiful garden and think about life. Every morning got a new philosophical meaning of life to me. শিরোনামহীনের ভাষায় "আমি খুন হই প্রতিদিন"। It gave lot of inspiration and courage to go forward.

Milestone gifted me the beautiful and spiritual mornings of my life.

Very good college. It is a big college and has some campus. Rules and regulation is very good.

MI store in school and college which is permanent campus.It's a better academy.
There are twos play ground, different building for school and science laboratory, canteen, meeting room are available. There are qualified teachers.It's residential and none residential system.

the campus is huge. The campus is better than other campuses. Monthly fees are very high and middle class people can't really afford this school for their children. the salary of teachers are very low. Most of the teacher of English version have least knowledge of teaching. I think some teachers are spoiling the students life with their bad teaching. Some teachers are very good too. The education system is very bad. they give a lots of pressure to the students which are unnecessary and dangerous for their future.

Milestone College is very known College in Bangladesh for his good credit. It was nice and very beautiful to look at. And also rules & conditions are strict for students. Overall its a Good College in Bangladesh

I passed from this college. From my opinion there is no question in quality education. Though it's tough to maintain their pressure to study but if u can manage i am sure it will be a very good investment for your future.
Specially Department head of physics Shafayet sir will teach you life.
Another best teacher of this college is Azizul Hakim sir from math department.
All over the adviser Col. Nurunnobi sir take seminars to motivate students which is also good.

This is the most popular college in Bangladesh. if you are weak student you can admit here. every teachers are so good and their take care is so different.

In the very beginning you might not like their educational approach but eventually you will realize that it was the best institution that you are enrolled!! And I saw a lot of you were commenting about its higher expenses but believe me it's worth it.

It's really good educational institution. I really want more development of the same. The way teachers teaching students, sometimes its become burden to a student. Some of this needs to be reformed.
