Hotel Duivels Paterke

I had the pleasure of staying at the Duivels Paterke in Kortrijk for one night and I can confidently say that it was a memorable experience. The hotel's owner, Carmen, is a delightful and larger-than-life presence who made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped through the door.

My room was modern, clean, and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a stylish en suite bathroom that exceeded my expectations. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a long day of travel.

One of the highlights of my stay was the conversation I had with Carmen about European languages. As a language enthusiast, I appreciated her passion for preserving Flemish and her insights into the linguistic landscape of the region.

Breakfast at Duivels Paterke was a true delight. Carmen went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary preferences, offering to cook bacon and eggs. I decided on the traditional Dutch/Flemish cheese and bread instead. The bread and cheese were more than enough to satisfy my appetite, but the offer of a cooked breakfast was a lovely touch.

Kortrijk itself is a charming town with plenty to see and do. The town's two towers are the most prominent landmarks, but there are also numerous shops, restaurants, and museums to explore. I would definitely consider visiting Kortrijk again in the future and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Duivels Paterke.

In summary, I highly recommend Duivels Paterke to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Kortrijk. Carmen's warm hospitality, the modern and clean accommodations, and the delicious breakfast made this one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time.

This is a beautiful small hotel with a great service and excellent breakfast. The rooms are cozy, clean with nice decoration. I highly recommend it. You'll love Carmen, the owner.

Have been there for 5 Month for work.
Everything was nice, especially the breakfast. If you are lucky the Host opens the Restaurant and can even eat Dinner there.
The Beer Theme of the Restaurant is great as Well.

Downside: The Internet Connection in one room (Rochefort) isnt very stable.

Superb boutique hotel, gorgeous rooms and bathrooms, absolutely amazing breakfast. Easy walking distance to shops and bars. Will be going back as soon as we can, as Carmen, its hotelier, is wonderful, a true hotelier.

Carmen is the perfect host and her hotel is just lovely. We had an amazing room with a huge and stylish bathroom. The room was very spacious and perfectly decorated. Every room has a different beer as theme and it is just cosy. The breakfast was amazing, too.

Met colleague here for a quick pre-meeting lunch, service was fast but unhurried. Tasty soup and crusty bread followed by veal Milanese and pasta on good value fixed-price menu. Can't say I'm likely to be back, as a rare visit to these parts, but highly recommended!

Op wandel afstand van het mooie centrum. Heel nette grote kamer met bubbelbad. Vriendelijke eigenares. Lekker verzorgd ontbijt. Met vers fruit, gebakken eitje naar keuze.

Heerlijk geslapen in de la trappe dubbel kamer, en het ontbijtje was heel lekker. Zeker een aanrader!
