Amazing church!! Very very beautiful on the inside, must visit in Liege.

Beautiful church with Baroque and Gothic styles in the same church. The windows are saved from 1600 (were kept away during WW II)! The whole interior is really magnificent

Beautiful church and friendly gentlemen inside who are happy to give a free tour and explain the history.

Perhaps the finest example of the flamboyant (late) gothic church architecture in the lowlands. Although the structure is fundamentally gothic in conception, the triforium, capitals and vaults are elaborate expressions of the Renaissance. Here the burghers of Liege demonstrated the wealth of their city to all visitors.

There was a lady that explained the history of the church and the artifacts in it to us.
The church is very beautiful and like a museum.

Je 'eigen' kerk hebben, wie kan dat nog meer zeggen? Heel mooie kerk. Ongelooflijk oud voorstuk en prachtige binnenkant. Ach ja, die rijke katholieke kerk. Wat houden we toch van pracht en praal! Bezichtigen kan tot 12 uur 's middags. Ik word iedere keer weer door dezelfde vriendelijke vrijwilliger eruit gestuurd: na een gezellig en vriendelijk gesprek over de kerk en haar geschiedenis.

Hier kann und sollte man Treppen zu einem Zwischengeschoss hinaufsteigen. Viele Ausstellunhsstücke kann man hier bewundern. Die Kirche ist ein Museums-Hybrid.

Eglise absolument sublime à voir et contempler très longtemps

Una perla tra le tante bellissime chiese di Liegi.Ci siamo andati e mentre stavamo entrando una gentilissima signora ci ha detto che stavano chiudendo ma per noi facevano una eccezione e ci hanno dato una ventina di minuti per ammirare questa bellissima chiesa.La chiesa merita una visita approfondita viste le tantissime bellezze che vi si possono ammirare , dal soffitto fino a una bellissima madonna di legno, alle splendide vetrate.All´uscita hanno dato a ognuno di noi un regalo di Pasqua, degli ovetti di cioccolata con in nome della chiesa,vale assolutamente la visita.

Superbe église !! La messe du dimanche est actuellement donnée par le Père Hugues O.Praem et le Père Tanguy O.Praem, qui sont excellents et super accessibles ! Alors si vous cherchez un endroit pour renouer avec vos racines chrétiennes, n’hésitez pas à venir ! 🙌🏻🙏🏻⛪✝ P.s: La messe du dimanche se donne actuellement à 11h00

Это просто потрясающе! Сен-Поль конечно красив, но Сен-Жак это что-то особенное. Поражает своей красотой, гармонией, несмотря на то, что сен-жак в настоящее время теснит современная застройка, очень плотно к нему подошли улицы и жилые резиденции, сен-жак реагирует на это достаточно спокойно. Можно сказать, что он проиграл в борьбе за первенство Сен-Полю, но это только формально, административно, потому что на самом деле он главный. Но в тоже время он выиграл, вокруг него нет такого количества туристов и толчеи, есть только умиротворение. Это настоящее, все вокруг: и парк возле территории бывшего аббатства. Очень красивое и спокойное место, которое переносит вас в другое время и другую эпоху. Можно много читать об истории Сен-Жака, о стилях, реконструкция, перестройках, исторических перипетиях, революциях, но это все неважно, он выстоял перед временем и стоит олицетворяя собой саму красоту

Le plus bel édifice religieux de la ville selon moi. Possibilité de prendre l'escalier à double révolution pour voir sous un autre point de vu les lieux. Quelques photos ci-dessous vous donneront je l'espère l'envie d'y aller.
