IKEA Gent

We got excellent advice over creating an addition to our kitchen, really good 3D modeling software as well.

Then after we went through to return an item, and that was a breeze.

After that we did the usual 1hr walk through the shop because anything less is just speeding through.

And then to top it off with a decent salad for €1.75 was ok.

Great store that has everything you it is just opposite to Hotel Holiday inn,it has complete kitchen set, bathroom, furniture, kids beds,couches, beds, closets, linen, cutlery, glassware, lights & fixtures, vases, candles, decorations, plants..bedsheets,chairs,cots,ladders,dining tables,flowers,candles,Lighting section,wall decors,door mats,refrigerators,office furniture,living room furniture and many more.
It also has excellent cafe.On sundays it is closed

It's an ikea, not much to say about it really. You'll always get more stuff than you were planning on getting.

Yummy food of you stay at the holiday Ikea is just across the road, especially if you arrive at night and you want to get some food,it's lovely.

If you want to figure out advanced compositions for your house, go on an off-peak period (early in the morning or during a sunny day). Note that there is also a -1 parking.

I’m totally IKEA fun! This is the only unified system I buy. The ergonomics, flexibility yet modularity and simplicity is something I love.

Omg I had never been to IKEA before and it is now easily one of my favourite stores! Compared to Nairobi where I'm from, stuff here is pretty affordable, and most importantly, AESTHETICALLY PLEASING! Highly recommend...plus the staff is super helpful and friendly. They also have washrooms and restaurants in here. The only thing I didn't like, is how easy it is to spend the entire day here 😭

The one and only Ikea of Ghent. Located in the south of the city, you can get there easily by car (big parking) or by tram. Even by bike it is possible!
The store is big, has the standard Ikea catalogue, restaurant and groceries. A must go place if you want affordable furniture.
As a student, I have to say that 90% of my house is Ikea decoration 😅

Always a good day when you're finished with choosing your furnitures and ended up eating the delicious sweedish dish (meatballs ofcourse). It's a must!

IKEA is great and the same probably anywhere in the world. I've visited them here and in the US; mostly the same. Went there (of course) for the meatballs and smoked salmon, and it was delicious and filling for not a lot of money (10 Euros for each of us).

Big store

Cool place but things should be restocked as soon as they are sold out. Some thing I needed were not there so it was a problem. Otherwise, the prices were good and I would really recommend getting essential things from there.

Great store only downside is that everyone likes it so it can get a bit crowded.
