Paix Woods

Amazing place, full of emotions and memories. The road to it is very narrow and the parking places only a few, but it worths doing it. Fantastic idea with a tree for every fallen soldier.

Amazing place to remember such a dramatic occasion. Walking the whole circle and reading the placards from the towns is highly recommended and informative!
Just a bit of a pity that quite a few of the veteran trees seem to have died and are waiting for a replacement.

Really nice location, full of emotions. We went on a Sunday morning during winter so it was full of snow. Most important, no crowds there.

A nice but somewhat strange visit, signing of cities which suffered greatly in the second world war in a big circle around small groups of trees. In the center different types of trees with names of soldiers who returned to Bastogne.

Not too many people, now when there is a lot of snow. Kids were happy, trees looked beautiful, all covered in snow, and everything is well preserved. For those who don't know the story, when there was the anniversary of 50 years of the Battle of the Bulge, surviving veterans visited the place, claimed a tree, that bears a plaque with their names, all in the name of peace, therefore you have a forrest of trees of peace (Peace/ Paix Woods - Bois de la Paix translated in French).

A forest in remembrance of easy company. You better not leave any more dirt. This monument is here partly because of Tom thanks. You should be T. Hankful! And be clean
