Excellent, warm and friendly restaurant in a lovely location. Proper Bruges food. The clip to hold the colander of frites to the side of the table is a genius invention. A lovely evening.

We tried the Godfriet frietuur and we really enjoyed it. The quality of food was great and Mr. Reza is very polite and friendly. The food also made very well. Compared the frietuur we have tried before, here had much better quality. Recommended!

I visit every year regularly and the qualities of the food is very good.

What a nice experience we had yesterday evening. First we had drinks at 5pm and afterwards dinner. Everything was nicely cooked and presented
Cheese Croquettes tasted outstanding, Kabeljau and veal tonge were amazing in the portion size and tasted next level 😋. Tart Tartin with vanilla ice cream yummy to.

Where should I start? This place is just amazing. We ordered the rabbit and the veal kidneys and after the first bite, we were speechless. Both dishes tasted incredibly! Meat was tender, sauces were delicious and portions were huge. Staff is really friendly and it’s just a few steps away from the big hotels outside Brujas. When in town, go ‘t Bagientje.

We’ve only tasted the mussels, as we wanted to try a famous Flemish dish. The restaurant did not disappoint. Service was amazing and the food was good. Would recommend this to anyone.

We went on a Saturday night and even though the restaurant was quite busy, they found us a table without us having to wait. The menu was only in Dutch but despite how busy it was, our waiter took the time to try to explain the meals, making it easier for us to order. The prices are high but both me and my partner enjoyed our meals and the dessert we got so I would say it is definitely worth visiting.

Wonderful authentic restaurant. Great atmosphere and decor, excellent friendly service and fantastic authentic good food. Highly recommend, and make sure you book in advance. Also, easy metered parking right outside.

Their "frituur" on the right side Godfriet serves the best fries of Belgium... So basically of the world. Artisan tartaarsaus, homemade croquettes, and lots of vegan options: simply amazing

There are many tourist traps restaurant in Brugge posing as authentic belgian cuisine while serving reheated stuff.

This is NOT one of them and by a long mile. We had an excellent diner served in a cosy environment by very friendly staff. The food was excellent and the price was very honnest given the quality of the whole experience. It was our best meal in Belgium and I can only very warmly recommend going there. Make sure to book in advance

We stayed two nights in the hotel and ate one night in the restaurant. The hotel room is basic but very comfortable, the old fashioned hydronic heating was very efficient and the room was clean and well supplied with tea, coffee and clean linen. The separate bathroom was only shared with one other room and while not gleaming was spacious and clean. The restaurant dinner was superb, authentic, hearty Flemish cooking, incredibly rich and flavorful. Staff are friendly and helpful (in the very reserved, understated Dutch manner). Heartily recommended for budget conscious travelers and anyone wanting a good meal.

We were lucky to have a really good lunch here. The lunch offer for almost 16 euro included a soup and a main course, on this day steak with fries and salad. Sauce and mayonnaise were homemade. And you tasted it. The steak cooked to the point. The dressing rounded off the salad perfectly. Also the portion was plentiful for two persons. Thank you very much for this delicious and pleasant meal.

We were on our way back to the train station after visiting Brugge, it was getting late, we were not sure if we had time to eat here and make our connections, but took the chance, were we ever glad!
't Bagientje was just what we were hoping to find, a warm, charming restaurant serving classic Flemish fare. The staff were not all as familiar with English as most of the touristy places might have been, but there was a young waitress who was able to help us out, plus google translater. I had rabbit and plum sauce, my daughter had a chicken dish, a creamy gentse waterzooi or something similar which was fabulous, my wife had a flavorful beef stew. Portion were generous, and the evening was wonderful. Highly recommend!!

We came in with two without a reservation and they did everything to get us seated. All the waiters were very friendly and the food was good. Not spectacular, but definetly good. I would definetly recommend it. The price-to-quality-ratio was on point.

Charming place to stay, with excellent service and location.

The location ideal; a few minutes walk from the station (you can literally see it form the station crossing and we left our luggage there after in the morning for a convenient pick up after our stay).

Attractions are close as well. Charming vintage feel and warm welcome to Brugge. Free wifi (which had great reception in our room), Natalie and the staff co. were attentive and friendly making us feel at ease.

Room we stayed in was 3, classic arrangement, but a shared bathroom could put people off (though didn't see other tenants until breakfast dining), along with the free wifi the facilities include: toiletries, heating, flat-screen TV, view, room sink, hardwood/parquet floors, electric kettle, towels, linen (Note: upper floors are accessible by stairs only).

Breakfast is open from 8:30 and for tenants only, so is made to order (though simple, was very nice) and feel as though the place is opening just for you.

Also worth noting there is a city tax of €4.24 in addition to your booking, which was for two people. Overall highly recommend if you are after a cosy stay and local great service - we would stay again, great value.

I would also recommend you have the dinner there (the price may seem high to some, though it is worth the value), I would suggest making a reservation as it was busy. The Flemish stew was delicious and all the cuisines were homemade.

Amazing authentic Belgian food at really great prices. This is where the locals eat. Must visit in Bruges. It beats any tourist centric center restaurant, in terms of quality and service. Service was amazing, thank you to the staff!

Brilliant place to stay in Brugge 4 minute walk from station. Clean great bed and continental breakfast. Highly recommended. Excellent restaurant for lunch/evening meal.
