Lovely owners (maybe a bit shy) you can ask anything. If you understand the wonder of the diamond, then this is a marvelous place. It's maybe small, but if you do your best, you will learn something.

It is not a big museum, rather a kind of boutique museum, but it offers a very interesting and informative tour about the history and value that Diamonds acquired for humans through history.
It is very important to attend the cutting and polishing demonstration provided only at 12.15 every day, which is the only place where you are allowed to take pictures during the visit.
At the souvenir store, I found a nice book : " Diamonds ", written by Marijan Dundek, with a lot of verified information and many nice photos.

A very good way to spend a couple of hours on a wet afternoon. Well structured, covering history and science, and not skimping over less savoury aspects, particularly the slavery in Brazil.

Really interesting and lots of interactive stuff to do for both adults and kids. There's also diamond polishing demo happening daily at 12:15.

If you are interested in the history of diamants, that's a nice visit to do. The museum is not huge, but informative enough to have a view of the history, the techniques and to know a bit more about diamants.
There are many texts to read, so if it's not your thing, you might be disappointed, but if you don't mind reading texts, you will learn a bit more about diamants.
Do not miss the show, it is only twice a day, it is worth it and makes the museum a bit more concrete and vivid.

You need anything from 1/2 an hour to a few hours to visit depending on how much literature you want to read. We read it all and found it very interesting. We also paid to see the diamond polishing show which we also found interesting.

You can buy a combination ticket from Choco-story to visit the diamond museum but this ticket does not include the diamond polishing show.

It was surprisingly good. We weren't expecting much, thought it would just be a little hole in the wall place but it was decent size and was really informative. I learned a lot about diamonds and how they became such a huge global commodity.
