Lovely cosy bar, great service and good prices.

A great wee pub. Cosy with an outdoor terrace at the back.

Unlike most places nearby that have inexplicable bland decor that caters to tourists, this is a normal pub. Religious statues over the bar by the dozen, interesting maps on the wall.

Good beer. Good bar staff. Good atmosphere. What more could you want?

While most places in the town have renovated so they are a bad interpretation of what ‘modern’ should be, this is a decent proper Belgian bar with a great interior and good beer for a good price. Please stay this way!

If you put a gun to my head and shouted "WHERE'S YOUR LAST PINT GOING TO BE?!"
Without a moments hesitation i would reply "The 12 Apostels! The 12 Apostels! Please put the gun down!!" We drank local beer and stuffed our faces with the bottomless peanut jar. Phil was a calm and attentive bartender whom ensured our brief stay was truly remarkable. Those who joined us in The 12 Apostels arrived as foes and left as friends.
