Proxy Delhaize Kouter

You can find pretty much anything you need supermarket-wise here, although you might have to hunt for it. As with many small markets, it is a maze of warrens. Staff are nice and restock the shelves constantly, so it doesn't seem to be empty at the end of the day.

One of my favorite markets because of their selection and it's not crowded. Not as inexpensive as Albert Heijn, but usually worth the little extra.

With the renovations this local supermarket has become one of the most enjoyable ones to shop in around Ghent. Peak hours can be a bit cumbersome but usually it's a pretty great grocery shopping experience.

Always open except Thursday afternoon. The shop has diverse goods with good prices. They also make sandwiches and sushi.

Stellar supermarket with very friendly staff. Has a large variety of stock catering to city folk with an abundance of bio products and options for veggies and vegans

Great selection and usually not crowded.

The best life saver, especially when there was 20% discount due to maintance ,I loved Kouter on that week with 20% on all my shoppings & in some products you really get double discount!

widest selection of alcoholic beverages in town, great if you have a party planned or if you want to buy some jenever to bring home as a souvenir!

Staff is very helpfull if you're looking for something. Its a big place and you can find anything you need of food drinks cookies etc.

Brilliant store and ranges. Prices didn't seem high either. Will be making a return visit.

Same prices of any other proxy departmental stores. I like this place because close to the city center and fresh fruit at the beginning of the store.

This shop has a lot of organic stuff that most other Delhaize shops don't carry.

You can get a variety of chocolate of Galler. It is good for souvenir.

If you are looking for something to drink and eat cheap, this is the place to be!
