An atmospheric experience in the heart of Bruges. Steak cooked to perfection right before your eyes. The delicious aroma of searing meat couple with the crackle of the BBQ all add to the lovely ambience of De Wijngaert, highly recommend!!

It was such a nice experience that we came back for a second round. The food is well served, tasty and their staff is friendly.

Beautiful Sirloin steaks cooked right beside us on a griddle ... Dog friendly as well although the restaurant is very compact and unsuitable for larger dogs ... Make sure you book in advance

A nice little place in Bruges, Belgium 🇧🇪 small little place and felt like it's a family place and with an open grill as you walk in, which means you have to have something cooked on it ... you can have anything from sausages, ribs to steak , and venison ... the beer was delicious as well as the food and after the rainy morning I had I was a nice place to soak up the atmosphere and get dry and get ready to eat lunch 😋.

As you will see in the pictures I had a mixed Grill which had a little of everything and lots more .... well worth the finding if you can and hopefully you can enjoy it after a rainy or snowy cold day just like I did... 💫💫💫💫💫 5 stars.😁🇧🇪

A very cozy atmosphere and an excellent service! The mixed grill was very nice, although a bit too much for me. For my partner the size was perfect. The only thing that I was struggling a bit with, was the heat inside (which was fine at first, but if you sit right next to the open grill you might sweat ;)). Definitely will revisit!

Best meal I had in Belgium - full stop. Scottish Ribeye, Hendrick Triple. Wow.

Thoroughly enjoyed a meal here with friends recently. It makes a lot of sense to book a table as it's small and fills up very quickly with a lot of visitors as well as locals. It's also quite warm thanks to the open fire which is used for cooking.
Service is quick and attentive. The food was very good and if you leave enough room for dessert I can highly recommend that too.
It's not a restaurant for sitting in for a long time so you may find you stay for @ 60-90 minutes which I think is fair and allows the owners to allow further customers in.
Well worth visiting if you like your meat dishes, the Flemish Stew is especially good.

A nice little restaurant in the local area at the corner of the street with some patio seating that is good for the summer. Their specialty is grilled items and the charcoal grill is right in the centre of the dining area for ur viewing.

I originally was gonna have several starters including frog legs and snails but the recommendations menu with the deer and hare got my attention. I ended up ordering a filet of deer, luckily I wasn't too greedy adding a starter else it'll be way more than I could handle as that was a set meal.

Very good grill restaurant. Good portions. We had mixed grill and grilled duck. Both very nice. Great service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Try their sangria as well!

Had a fantastic dinner here. Amazing grillled food and cold drinks. The Lamskroon was extremely tender and melted in the mouth. The mixed grill was a huge portion and almost too much for us to finish. The sides were very good also.

We enjoyed our experience here and the staff were super friendly and made it a lovely nice.

Super kind and cozy. We randomly visited here cause other restaurants were full. I think we were lucky to come here. We almost cried when we got this dishes! This is heaven, one of my best restaruants😍

Many glowing comments about this restaurant and they are all correct. A warm and friendly restaurant, this was by far my favorite restaurant from my trip. Cooked while you watch at a wood-fired grill central to the room, the meals were outstanding. My wife loved her rack of lamb and my trio of Bison, Kangaroo, and Zebra was as delectable as it was exotic. Though there were so many inviting restaurants in the area, we went back a second time since we loved it so. A huge thank you to the great staff for making it one of the more memorable parts of a great vacation.

Amazing place with the best grill in Bruges.

Good was amazing and so was the customer service! You get to watch them grill your food. The fire gives the place a cosy feel! Definitely recommend

Very nice and cosy restaurant. Absolutely perfect for dinner, steak is made in front of your eyes on the grill. Kids loved it too. It is a small restaurant, make a reservation to make sure you have a table. The hosts were very kind and the food was throughout perfect. Shrimps, steak, deer-beef, kangaroosteak, you name it. It was a memorable evening for us. Two adults and three children of 10, 13, 14.

Loved everything even the fact that it was a small cosy space. Meat cooked to perfection, wine served at the right temperature, waiter polite and very accommodating. Highly recommended!
