Restaurant Elckerlijc

As a barbecue and meat lover, this was an incredible experience. We had the Oedslach and Rubia Gallega dry aged meat. Truly exceptional and perfectly baked. You can see and taste the passion for fire in this restaurant in every bite. Very friendly staff and cosy setting. Would recommend.

For those who, like myself, takes meet and fire seriously, Elckerljic is a jewel.
Visiting Belgium for the first time with family I found this restaurant looking for a good place to go between Bruges and Ghent while we were driving the area.

I am a meet lover and been chasing the best steaks around the world for many years so far. I’ve already had great steaks in Argentina, Brazil, NY, London, France, Spain, Portugal…
Elkerljic could be in any list of the top 10 steaks restaurants in the world.
A beautiful property in the rural area, with a great grilled meats menu and an impressive list of special steaks of different breeds from different regions, perfectly dry aged in the house! Amazing!
The sides and deserts all prepared
With local fresh products are great as well.
The service was friendly and professional.
The wine list is very flexible price-wise with excellent choices from France, and Italy mainly.
In terms of price it is not an affordable restaurant. Be prepared to pay accordingly to the quality of the whole experience.
But man! I paid every buck with pleasure.
What a restaurant!
I highly recommend it and it is already part of my best restaurants around the world list!

6 of us went for Dinner. Amazing food. Excellent Service. A bit expensive but worth every penny. Definitely coming back.

The place was nice! I love it that this restaurant is kinda far from everything which is so good! The place is beautiful and they have a lot of space but yes it's all full so make reservation before you go!
Also all staff were so nice and the food was good. The place was crowded but we got our foods pretty fast so we really enjoyed out time there 🥳

This place is a must if you are travelling from Brugge to Gent. I recommend you schedule your trip so that you can stop at this place for lunch. Great grilled vegetables and red meat!

Great restaurant , very friendly staff. Food is amazing they show you your steak at the table , a nice touch. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it.

Fantastic restaurant with food, wine, service & ambience all first class. Found by accident early in year and now visited especially with friends on overnight trip from London. Will return!

Company dinner, met thr chef and had tour of the farm. Then excellent dinner.

Great food, lousy acoustics. But nonetheless cozy surroundings.

If you are a meat lover...this is your place to be.
