Emona Boat Restaurant - Kardzhali Reservoir

We went for a late lunch, and the restaurant was packed. We were lucky to find a table, but it's better to call and make reservations ahead of time. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh, from the fish to the purlenka. Since we were on the top floor, the view was great, and it was a refreshing breeze on that hot day.

Delicious cuisine! But I really, really liked the "Разядката на Манчев" - it was great version of chavier,it was light, it was extraordinary.
The service is great, the personel is very, very polite.
We had a ride for an hour in the waters of the dam with a boat.

There are many cute ducks. The music is not chalga and I like it very much. The sofas are soft and comfortable.

Very popular local restaurant on the water. Very tasty fresh fried and barbequed fish. Fish soup is excellent. Tasty cheese and herbs bread.

Food was very delicious. Great fish from the lake there! Service was good. The location is just perfect. Sitting in a ship with historical significance, watching the sun set over a beautiful lake. Can't get any better.

Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious! Definitely back again!

Great place, very good food, amazing view. Respect for organising Emona Rock Fest 2022. We will definitely visit it again.

Fish. More fish. A lot of fish. Good. Very good. And very busy on a Sat evening but we namaged to get a table for 6.

l like this place a lot. The food was very good. Ask for the best fish in the season, all are very good. Also try bulgarian beer, Kamenitza is a good one.

Very tasty food. We had fish soup, bread with garlic, french fries with cheese, pork meat and apple strudel. It was delicious, big portions, in the soup we had a lot of fish as it should be.
Staff was also very nice and smiling:)

I am very, very, very pleased with this restaurant. I had my doubts, but they disposed of them very quickly. I recommend you make a reservation before go there. The waiters are very polite and made some very good recommendations. Ouers knew the menu very well and was able to stop us from ordering things that are not good or are not available at the moment. As for the food - delicious. All the fish is fresh from their own fish farm so it is guaranteed to be fresh. My recommendations are - fried catfish, trout on BBQ. Appetizers they have something that is a leavers from carp fish thst are fried and are amazing with a beer or in my case with more than one. The bread is made at the moment and can be with garlic, cheese or white cheese. And for dessert a homemade biscuit cake. The atmosphere is very good, music is not loud and it is some old school Bulgarian rock and pop music, you can have nice and calm conversation because of this. There is a nice view from the ship and the history of the place is also interesting. As a bonus the place is part of the 100 National Bars and restaurants in Bulgaria.
As a con I can tell that the servise was a bit slow for my taste, but I think it was because all of the dishes were fresh and were made at the moment, nothing frozen or ready in advance.
Overall - definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner. Have patience and it will be rewarded with nice food and cozy atmosphere.

Very tasty food. The view is amazing both day and night. There is also local grown fish dishes. This restaurant is one of the best places with top kitchen in Kardzhali area. I really enjoyed my dinners, much bettee as it was some 10 years ago when I visited precious time. You should definatelly go there and try the meals....
They say the cooks&restaurant took part in a bulgarian cooking show Chef Manchev... cannot say anything cause I only visited recently twice.. Just noticed some missing meals in the menu..
