The service is much higher than some 5 star hotels. The style of socialism has been preserved. 4 deserted beaches, a large park with many plant species, a winery, a church, bungalows on the beach. You sleep in a forest and listen to the sound of the sea all night. It's a pity that the pool is not working, but there is still so much potential...

To visit the location, reservation must be made in advance because the palace is a protocol residence. During the visit you will be accompanied by a guide for about an hour and a half among the gardens and the interior of the palace.

An absolut treasure! Must visit 👌As the Euxinograd Palace is an active national parliament residence you have to inquire about your visit via email (best 1 month in advance) - they will send you the available dates and times for your visit. Normally there are groups of up to 30 people and the guide is speaking Bulgarian and English. Photographing is allowed but only in the park area of the palace, inside of it you are not allowed to take photos. They even have their own winery and you can buy wine and other spirits made there. Highly recommended and worth the money (12 BGN or approximately 6 EUR)!

An idea only because are lost a lot of money and visitors .
There should be 2-3-4 rounds for the visit, at fixed times, to be announced on the site ...... without making an appointment online and someone will answer you or not 😭..... I think it would be the best idea I have seen this system in many places in the world.
I hope that next year this system will be implemented. Because it's great to visit, but the facilities for visiting are complicated.
EDIT!!!!!!!!!!

I was in Varna for 3 days, but a week before I sent a booking email. They responded very promptly❤ The palace has a super beautiful garden, wonderful to visit, it's a pity that the palace has only the ground floor open to the public.
While reading the reviews I had a heartbreak, the guides are only in Bulgarian ..... But our guide, Matea, being the only foreigners, explained us separately in English, thank you very much.

Great historical 19th century palace inspired by Austrian and French palace styles just outside Varna. Keep in mind you can visit only with an organised group and the tour is in Bulgarian.

We were not able to visit it because it was very short notice and the visiting schedule was fully booked that day but I am adding a photo containing the e-mail of the location and rezervations should be made at least couple of days before the visit, if not even weeks especially during summer season.
I will sure visit it next time!

A hidden treasure! Hard to find information - you must reserve by email in advance. A timed visit, 90 minutes, don't be late. Unpromising start - uncommunicative security on the gate, but when the guide arrived, bang on time, everything went smoothly. The gardens and palace have some lovely moments, a lot of history and European royal connections & influence. Our guide was wonderful, brought the whole experience to life. Well worth a day away from the beach to discover some Bulgarian history.

Worth the visit! Book in advance (at least a week) on their website. There is no tour in English for foreigners, however it is still a nice idea for a walk.

Saw some people complaining about how the guide was only in Bulgarian or that there were no toilets. Our guide talked in English. At the end of the tour of the palace were toilets. Slight bummer is that we couldn't visit the other floors of the palace ( only one you can visit is the first floor) and that we couldn't see the what we've been told spectacular beach view as they had guests on the beach. We had no problems booking a visit with a group of 30 people. Remember that this is a governmental palace and garden and that's why you might not get admitted a visit or might not see everything. We were also told that you are unlikely to get admitted a visit with a group of less than 20 people. Only way to make a reservation is by email , and you should do that a week in advance so you can make other plans if you don't get admitted.

Amazing place , the castle and the gardens are wonderful. The only downside is that the reservation process need some improvement because its only by email.

Nice beach palace of the precommunist monarchy period. Now used by polititians as a summer holiday spot. No English guide(she speaks English but decided to not translate in English for 4 out of 25 visitors). You have to call and sign up up front for a visit. The gupide'se attitude was strange, I do not think she likes her job.

For A guided tour with an English speaking guide make sure you register with Gabriella! She speaks English very well, she asked me to tag along to her and explained everything to me as we were walking to each stop. Also there's a couple printed pages you'll get at the beginning of the tour which notes every stop with some info about it. I called to register and was told to send an email with my name, date and time of tour I want to be in (they will tell you what's available, make sure you ask for Gabriella as a guide!). I emailed shortly after and received a confirmation within an hour. The palace itself is simple but has great symbols (lilly), interesting history, some beautiful artwork by Ivan Mrkvička, beautiful gardens and views of the black sea. It's about an hour and a half, mainly outdoors with no shade. There's a bathroom stop at the palace. 12lv a person and you pay the end of the tour where you can also buy some souvenirs. That part was very inefficient as Gabriella had to charge each person which took a good while, only than we walked to the wine cellar and finished our tour. Gabriella was great extremely knowledge about the palace and so much more, after reading the reviews I was worried I wouldn't enjoy the tour as I was the only English speaking person out of about 20 but was so very pleasantly surprised to find out Gabriella speaks English, definitely made the tour so much better.

A great palace, a place full o history. I've visited it during Easter Holyday.
Christian, the young guide, has a good knowledge of modern history and politics. He is a nice and polite person, who tries during breaks to offer information also for the English speaker visitors.
Euxinograd Palace is a must to visit during summer vacation. Romanians know olny about Balcic Castle which is linked to the Romanian royalty but Euxinograd Palace is more beautiful.

I have been here some years ago. The place has always been clean and nice and we'll maintained. The atmosphere is a mixture of history and nature.

Interesting experience with the guided walk. They give you a card at the end. Interesting facts were presented.
