Museum of Medicine History

We were the only one in the museum. Plus we didn’t pay for the entrance which was really surprising. The lady that greeted us shared some facts about the hospital and museum itself. Thank you for the experience!

The museum it's located in a very nice old building. Entrance is free and they have an interesting collection of medical instruments, remedies and skeletons. They have a room where they have activities for kids, I assume is used when school groups are coming. It's a pleasant way to spend some time when it's too hot outside. The room with farmacy furniture was my favorite. My 8 year old daughter enjoined and asked a lot of questions. There is no guide and only few items are translated in English.

The best place ever, very nice team. The entrance is for free. The museum is not too big but has interesting exhibits, it is a ex hospital. My nurse wife was in 7th heaven. I strongly recommend for people interested in medicine and others, the lady said that this medical museum is the only one in Bulgaria. Really worth a visit.

This museum is the best! The entry is free and it has so much to offer. My parner, who studies medicine, loved it. I liked that they showed the history of medical instruments and professions throughout the ages.

The exhibition is great for anyone interested in the history of medicine and how it evolved through the ages. It's good to see the tools physicians used back then and appreciate how far we've come since!

A very informative collection. You can stop for a quick look and learn so many things. Also, there's no entrance fee.

Entry is free, lot of old and interesting medical equipment. Close by is paid parking.

Lot’s of stuff to see, there are different sections. You can go back to the earlier centuries and see how people experienced the medicine at that time. Recommend it for people interested in the thing!

Very interesting place! Takes to another century, you can imagine how it was for ancient people, what devices and remedies they had.

The entrance is free at this museum. And if you visit Varna, you can spend half an hour to visit.

Este es un pequeño museo gratuito acerca de la historia de la medicina en la cuidad de Varna. Merece la pena su visita, porque descubrirás muchas curiosidades de la medicina. Tiene en su interior una réplica de una farmacia antigua, de un consultorio de un dentista así como mucho instrumental médico antiguo.
