Camping Kromidovo

We stayed at this campsite for two nights. The small campsite consists of a big lovely garden with spacious spots, enough shadow and hammocks. The toilets and the showers were clean and the WiFi works well. The outside kitchen was idyllic to cook and play games. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet and the relaxed atmosphere that John and Sarah have created here. They are very friendly people who live consciously with the nature of the area and make you feel very welcome. And we can recommend John’s beer!

What a lovely little place! Owners John and Sarah and volunteers Kike and Georgie really made me feel welcome and included ❤ The campsite itself is nicely decorated and shady. The toilets and showers are all modern and very clean and having an outdoor kitchen to cook at was a real bonus! I didn’t stay in the rooms but they also looked lovely. Kromidovo village is also great. The people are friendly, it’s got a little shop and it’s easy to get to other places to do activities. I would 100% stay at Camping Kromidovo again and definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area ☺

I stayed here for 2 weeks recently, and wish I could have stayed for longer! Sara and John are phenomenal hosts, very welcoming and hospitable. During our stay we felt like we were part of the family.

We spent some time in the rooms, which were impeccably clean on arrival and extremely comfortable. The kitchen and communal areas are equipped with everything you might need (and more)! We also spent a night in the stand-alone caravan, and absolutely loved this experience. The wi-fi coverage is great all over camp.

The property has a wide range of shower facilities, so whether you want to use an outside solar shower or an inside option, there’s something for everyone.

I also advise everyone to taste the home brewed beers and wine!! And the pool!!

Sara and John always ensure everyone gets exactly what they need, and sort any upcoming issues instantly. I could not recommend this camp more- wether you’re a family, solo traveler or couple- you’ll love it here.

We visit the Kromidovo camping each year. It's great for visits in the spring or in the autumn. Weather is usualy nice and warm.
There's also option for beer brewing with John who is one of the hosts.

We are not a 3 star hotel but a 1 star guest house, with a campsite. Also unfortunately the nearest hot mineral pool is currently closed. Follow the local signs to get here, not the online maps directions, and beware, the village roads are very rough !

We stayed here for a couple of nights when we first arrived in Bulgaria. The owners were both helpful and friendly and available on sight. The toilet and shower facilities were nice and clean. The campsite itself is nice with facilities for chemical toilet disposal and recycling. The pitches are quite small, however there are seating areas provided elsewhere. Overall a good campsite. The road leading to the campsite is very uneven, however the owners had advised us of this so we were prepared.

Our bicycles, tent and us loved this campsite! The owner (a really friendly, relaxed and generous Englishman) pointed us to a shady spot where we put our tent and spent a comfy night. The equipment is really well-thought for nomads like us: we had a table and bank to eat, could recharge our phones, have a shower in their very clean and modern bathroom. Having the possibility to taste the local wine was another big plus!

Very pleasant camp with super owners who know what they are doing. They welcomed us with open arms, offered us watermelon or grapes from home production, we also tasted their good home beer. If we could speak better English, maybe we could talk with them more, I think they would definitely help us recommend local specialties.

We also liked the facilities they have there. Fridge, kitchenette, shower and toilet, everything tidy and nice. They also have a great terrace where you can sit in the evening or even play ping pong.

We enjoyed it very much and thank you very much for your service. I also have to commend your prices which are absolutely brilliant and adequate for one night.

Lovely location in a quiet Bulgarian village, no light pollution or passing traffic.
Clean and comfortable with ample facilities..and all the fruit you can eat.
John and Sarah are the perfect hosts and their dogs and cats are gorgeous.
There's a small shop in the village where you can get some food to cook but it is quire simple food, but the lady is very friendly. There is also a taverna that might be open in the evening.
There is also an organic winery a short walk away.

I have nothing negative to say, just go.

Lovely small, family-feel campsite. Hosts are very welcoming and relaxed as well as extremely helpful.

Excellent facilities: toilets, showers, sink, multiple seating, hosts have thought of everything. There are so many personal touches that give the place that extra bit of personality you want from a campsite.

Would absolutely go again. Thanks Sara and John (from the two English birds).

Cozy place run by nice people. Very good sleep on our way back home from Greece. The road is not great, but we were warned by Sara when we booked, so we drove carefully.

Sara and John were wonderful hosts. Our tipi was very comfortable and had plenty of night lighting, we were able to use their BBQ, herb garden and kitchen. There are lots of nice places to sit and eat. You can also buy local wine and John brews excellent beer. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time around the area and we ended up extending our stay! We highly recommend you visit!

Sara and John are lovely hosts, always wanting to help and going out their way, to make guests as comfortable as possible within their means. We stayed in all 1.5 months in our caravan. They also have rooms to let out. There is also a natural hot water pool located about 200m from Kromidovo campsite with food and drinks available. Definitely do recommend.

Well equipped and organized camping site with full of beautiful flowers and trees provides great feelings for visitors at first sight. Cleanliness and spacious rooms with fast wifi. Peaceful vibe and so many exotic scenery nearby. The owners with easy-going and friendly characteristics are like good friends to talk to. Highly recommend.

Very quiet and cozy place. It has the parking spots for campers and caravans covered with fine net to keep shade. The hosts are very hospitable. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

We stayed 4 nights at Sarah's and John's wonderful and peaceful campsite! We felt like sitting with friends in their garden. It is a very cosy and lovingly designed place. The sanitary facilities are really nice and clean. We very much appreciated the ecological waste separation! It was quiet and calm with plenty of positive energy. Thank you John and Sarah! If we could, we would give a 6 star rating! ;-)

What a perfect spot on our trip from Serbia to Greece. Very calm and with a swimming pool at the end of the street! The owners are in one word lovely. They helped us get around, let us taste their homemade beers, got us wine from the region and were always in for a talk. 10/10!!

Wonderful camping, with clean bathrooms and WC, super nice hosts, beautiful surroundings, great place for wine tasting, John is also making great home made beer! Highly recommended!

Amazing campsite with brilliant hosts John and Sara, so friendly and helpful. They even put our washing on and put it on the dryer when we went out! The site had great facilities for us, travelling from England by air with just a hire car and tents- a fridge freezer to use, well- stocked camp kitchen, terrace and outdoor seating area/ shelter and I need to mention the excellent beer for sale. The toilets and showers were spotless. The village with two shops/ bars were only 10 mins max away and there is a nice mineral water public swimming pool just 5 minutes away. We were surprised that lunch there was of such good quality. Just over half a mile or so up the hill you can visit the Orbelus winery to have a tour and sample some outstanding wines from the Melnik grape variety, unique to this area.

We highly recommend this beautiful, small campsite, which had a really lovely atmosphere and everything we could have wished for. Thanks John, Sarah, Noel and Bel for a brill time!
