Francis Drake Restaurant

My wife and I visited here today, very busy, but service was on point. The food was excellent, I had a seafood salad and Teriyaki ribs, delicious, my wife had a white cheese salad and a fish possibly mackerel. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We like it! Good food , beautiful view , quiet music and not very expensive.

The food is good, decent prices and a beautiful view of the sea.

We really enjoyed our time here! Our waiter was great! Attentive, fast, kind. We liked our food: mussels, risotto and 2 different meat options; the house wine is pretty good as well. Definitely recommend! :)

I have become a regular client since the first time I steped într-o this lovely restaurant. Breakfast has a wide variety and it's always fresh and tasteful, lunch and din er are amasing. If you are visiting Balcic you have to try their mussels as they are the best I've ever had.

Great view and atmosphere, food is tasty and the waiters are very polite. The seafood is especially fresh and worth its price, which is not too high either, although a bit higher than your average Balchik restaurant. Went here three times, the staff was always friendly and the food was always spot on. I particularly liked the Rose Lemonade, as roses are a Bulgarian specialty.

Very nice experience! A cozy place, with very good food. Good, balanced background music. A very friendly and qualified personnel. We have been served quickly, the waiter spoke Romanian and explained us about the dishes we asked for. We strongly recommend!

Went there twice. Very happy with the food. The fish was perfect (try mini bluefish), good international and regional wine selection. Simple things like mashed potatoes as a side were excellent as well. Pricewise a bit higher, but worth the money.

Excellent mussels and less expensive than in other places were less tasty. Nice view, nice staff also, but would have been better to have the allergens marked in the menu.

The restaurant is opposite Hotel Mistral.

Very good food and prompt service ( for a 6 persons meal we wait less than 20 minutes for the food ), hospitable waiter and chill atmosphere.

Great view, perfect sea food, great service and pet friendly. The only place where they gave water to our Jack Russel. Highly recommend.

The food is very good. And the service is very pleasant. "Scoici marinărești" is the perfect recipe for mussels.
