This was our home in Bolivia (we returned twice, for several nights). The staff are friendly and welcoming. The bed was firm and comfortable and the rooms were spacious and perfect for sleeping. Breakfast (included) was all we needed, with many fresh baked goods, eggs, etc). They took care of our laundry and made us feel like we lived there. The location is first rate: across the street from the elegant gardens of the Palacio Portales, and a short walk from the restaurants on boulevard row and the largest grocery store we found in Bolivia. Love this place!

I love Cochabamba and this hotel was a beautiful find. An old estate house in the same family for generations, the manager José is super knowledgeable, environmentally-minded, and an avid cyclist, all good things! The courtyard is a perfect place for breakfast with the birds under the canopy of giant trees and the rooms, though not "modern" (it's an old house) were very comfortable. Definitely a better, classier place to stay than a sterile hotel somewhere.

A very nice hotel in the middle of Cochabamba and still it's very nice and quiet in the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful with lots and lots of polished wood. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a little swimmingpool and several beautiful gardens with fountains. A very good place to be comfortable and to relax.

Family Room 206: This Old World like Spanish Palazzo was built in the early part of the 1900s with very fine craftsmanship. It’s beautiful and the staff lovely and attentive. For a fee we were allowed an early check in and breakfast once we arrived in country. 206 is a 3rd floor room meant for families. Entry is into a short, narrow hall with a table and two chairs. That is where the WIFI is! After turning a corner you’ll find a good sized bath with tub and a built in armoire. Note the craftsmanship.

Two double beds, a desk, a moveable table and a table with lap between the beds is found in the first room which is separated from the second room by a half-wall type partition. This first room faces east so sun rises here! Second room has a very comfortable king bed (firm), armoire, TV Futon, fridge, two night stands and it’s big enough for a crib or un-packing and re-packing.

Used this hotel and room as our home-base and glad we did. Some fun features: The shower is hot and hard and I like a nice power-wash after climbing around Toro Toro. Towels are fluffy and can be replaced on demand if more or needed. While the room was cold, we were supplied heaters on our second night. Breakfast comes with eggs if you ask nicely and often they are offered. The coffee here is first rate! While not open for dinner, we did have a light lunch once; ask at the desk. Finally, we did eat the fruit with no consequences.

Beautiful well located hotel. Outstanding costumer service, price it's not bad at all 60£ p/n for hubby and I with breakfast included.
Immaculate clean, beautiful gardens.
Only thing to warn you of is that you need to keep you windows closed as it has lots of plants that atrack mosquitos.

The hotel is situated where you can easily walk or catch a taxi to any number of shops, restaurants, or attractions. My children love the heated pool (that is not too deep) and surrounding gardens. There is a fabulous breakfast buffet and the staff is so friendly and accommodating.

Excellent design, great service, best location but not on Fridays and Saturdays, several discotheques around makes it a little bit noisy.

We couldn't be happier with the choice of hotel. Rooms were very clean. Love the wood work through out the hotel. The restaurant "Los Espejos was excellent. The staff is awesome. The trees and greenery make you feel like you're in a different world! Love it, you have to stay here on your next trip to Cochabamba!

It is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are very nice, the customer service fantastic and the free breakfast outstanding.
It is also located in the nicest neighborhood of Cochabamba, with easy access to parks, restaurants and shopping.
I have stayed in this hotel several times, and in each occasion, I absolutely loved it.

I enjoyed Cochabamba, nice city, and the Hotel Cochabamba is excellent.

Have some suggestions to improve: Add water to the freezer, I usually drink 3 bottles a day. Vary the breakfast menu, having many fruits at Bolivia, you can do better than Papaya, Pineapple and Watermelon. 40% extra charge for taxi services is too much, up to 20% should be fine Two more: improve the internet access, it is too slow.

I recommend this hotel, price is good, environment is excellent, enjoyed the swimming pool, the parrots singing hiding on the tress, etc

Hotel where she film Y Tambien La Lluvia (Even the Rain) was made. Historic property in a business distric of Cochabamba located near many dinning options. Ideal for a business trip or sightseeing. This hotel is a gem to experience in its own right. The service from staff is warm and personal, unmatched anywhere for me.
