Good Destination if you're spending some time in Belo Horizonte. In the afternoon people are exercising, walking their dogs or playing with their kids.. there are also several museums surrounding the park.. lots do do

I loved the fact that the museums are free and open till late

Beautiful historic park shrouded by historical arcatecture. However, very sad to see tents and the homeless bathing in the potable water fountain.

Beautiful square in the center of Belo Horizonte inspired on the gardens of the Versailles palace, it is one of the most relevant ones. It has the so called cultural circuit around it, including different museums, knowledge institutions and at least one theater. The CCBB (cultural center of Banco do Brasil) stays nearby and is a must do visit. Also notice the wavy building, it is Oscar Niemeyer’s project. And such a beautiful one.

The palm trees lane is so beautiful!

This is one of my favorite parks in all of Brazil. It's a little small, but it's clean and the people are friendly. There are a few people soliciting candy but they are respectful.

As 1 of Brasil's wealthiest urban regions I enjoyed learning about Its history as a 'planned city' in 1899...

Awesome day with this landscape, worth it!!!🤘🤘🤘

A few benches! Safe place! Not so crowded!

Peaceful park to visit. Calm and has access to all the museums next to it. Worth taking family and kids.

It's a really nice area with palm trees and other nice plants. Not too big but it's a nice place to spend some time.

It's an amazing place here in Belo Horizonte, you can make jogging, running, take a break and breath. 😍

Great plaza for a stroll or a short run. There you will find fountains and it's a quite safe place. There you can also find some museum around.

It's one of the few places where your visit is mandatory in Belo Horizonte

Is a lovely place to relax and read books

A great place for tourists, turns out a pleasant environment majorly on Sunday afternoons. Although, can be explored on busy days at the museums and historical exposures. Love it!

A beautiful and (mostly)peaceful public square. Very clean and surrounded by museums, lots of pretty fountains and gorgeous flowers. There are many restaurants nearby. You can go there to relax, jog, read a book, meditate, ride your bike or scooter (or rent them from yellow) Lots of benches to sit on.

In December the city always decorates the square with Christmas lights and it’s a great place to take some pictures!

Great place to bring your child's, to taking pictures, relax, bring your dog, running and etc

A great place to take a walk. This square is literally surrounded by museums, making it an important place to visit if you want to make a cultural excursion in Belo Horizonte. It is pretty safe and the police is often there to ensure this. The trees and plants offer a pleasant green environment in the middle of the city.
