Gentleman by the name of Avery was top shelf on service. We got lucky, both rollerblades and shoes were on sale and the FINAL LAST sizing. That rarely ever happens, but sometimes we get lucky!

Due to the promotional sale, what we purchased ended up being an amazing deal, truthfully would have been depressed to know of this and pass on it; I’d of truly moped around knowing that we’d be receiving 50% off retail pricing. Just ended up working out that way. Couldn’t believe how timing just worked out.

Regardless of the deal we got, generally everyone was busy, (cleaning up the store, re-inventorying items picked up and placed elsewhere). Good environment in the store, happy vibe to it.

Definitely inconvenient to travel to this location, versus the one 5 minutes from me, albeit the trade off is absolutely phenomenal, and overwhelming sense of welcome and appreciation from Avery. Top shelf dude. 🤜🏼🤛🏼 thanks again
For your professionalism, regard for health and safety while next to insisting on trying the equipment that we were thinking of purchasing. Threw a helmet at my wife, and welcomed her to the whole floor of the store. Feeling valued and appreciated as patrons, listen. Any company can sell things, and bodies can always be located to fill positions.

The cashier that time was just not present, not anything like

I went there to buy myself a new soccer ball, and then realized I was 2$ short, but then the cashier was so nice that payed those 2$ with his own card. I’m sorry I did not get your name but if you are reading this thank you!

Excellent customer service on Feb 27, 2023. Walked in at 7:45 (store was closing at 8). My son had just broke his hockey stick at a game. The manager honored the 30 day stick guarantee even though we were a few days over. The young gentleman in hard goods was super helpful. In and out before store closing with a new stick for playoffs (we wound up spending more money on a more expensive stick). Great job by the manager and staff! Will definitely be back.

Ordered a bike that was on sale online and received fantastic service from Dan in the bike shop. When I arrived to pick up the bike the size was not feeling right. Dan was patient and helpful and got me into the right size and fit while honouring the price. Would recommend this Sport Check location if you are looking to get the perfect bike this season. I will continue to bring all my business to this location because of the customer service provided by Dan.

Exceptional service today! I came in for a return. Seemed like the store was short staffed, the wait time was longer than expected. However, the manager on duty Keon took his time and help me with my return and helped me find what I was looking for. He is has an amazing product knowledge, I left confident with my purchases and will be coming back again! It’s always hard to find great customer service in those corporate stores! Thank you Keon!

Probably one of the best services I’ve received! Purchased a bike not too long ago and dropped it off with the technician Dan and he fixed my bike fast and he was super respectful and caring! Told all my friends to go to the shop! Thanks Again!!

The service we got in this location on December 1 between the hours of 6:30pm to 8pm at the shoe department is excellent. Although he was by himself tending to more than 5 customers at one time he was so calm and was able to find what we were looking for. On top of that, he was able to get my son a pair of shoes that he really likes.

We bought skies, hockey equipment and clothing from this store. The staff and service is absolutely incredible. Especially Yassar. He was extremely knowledgeable and went out if his way to help us even when the store was busy. Clean & neatly organized store. I received exceptional service from Avery the manager, his staff are also very helpful and friendly. They also stock a descent amount of products in store. I’m very pleased with my shopping experience there.

I live abroad and while on a visit back home stopped by to purchase a few things. The pair of shoes that I bought, while being checked at the front desk, didn't match in size. I wrote to the customer service and was put in touch with a representative who coordinated a return plan and reimbursement for the shoes. Months later, a family member who came over for a visit and returned to Ottawa, was able to return the pair of shoes and I promptly received a full refund, without a hitch. Very good customer service and extremely understanding support team.

Rebekha is awesome she helped me a little while back within the clothing department and she had a great attitude, personality and knew how to be on the same level as you.

I also went back again today and was served again by their Cashier Eva. She was amazing. Has a beautiful smile towards greeting customers and an amazing attitude! I look forward to shopping there again and seeing familiar faces.

Huge shout out to Derrick in hard goods who helped me expedite an online order today. Had a rush order last night for my son who busted his shoulder pads in a hockey game and has a practice this afternoon. Ordered at 11pm and called the store at 10am this morning and Derrick spend 15 minutes searching the store for the item and asked the warehouse to expedite the online order so it was ready for pick up. This guy deserves a raise!
