Excellent bookstore! It was my first time and was pleasantly surprised. They’ve got a wide selection of genres. I spent quite a while browsing the collection of philosophy, art, and new age/occult books. I ended up getting a beautifully printed book simply titled “Tarot”. I’ve just finished reading and enjoying the images. Extremely satisfied with my purchase. The shop owner was also very pleasant and easy going. I would recommend the shop to anyone! There’s so much variety I’m sure there is literally something for everyone.

Lovely bookstore! I was searching for a good bookstore downtown on a trip and found it. Great selection of literature and theory especially, but there is something for everyone. Found some niche books I haven’t been able to get anywhere else and the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful!

My girlfriend and I stop at this bookstore anytime we have the chance because she is an avid reader and I am a philosophy student. We always find something interesting to take home and the same gentleman at the counter is always happy to help us find what we need. I even found niche philosophy books in french that were very affordable. I love this quirky goldmine of never ending books!

Nice little quaint bookstore. The books are stacked very high and the variety is massive. Take some time to browse as there are some gems.

Pricing is decent; you can find some popular titles a few dollars off retail price. They have mostly soft cover in stock.

Customer service is great as the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful.

A new favourite !! This used bookstore has a HUGE selection of classics among other genres, you would be certain to find what you’re looking for. The staff was also remarkably friendly and agreeable, offering me their help and thoughts (which I thoroughly enjoyed) regarding my selection of books. I only wish I had discovered this bookstore sooner… I will certainly be back whenever I’m in Ottawa again !

Great little hole-in-the-wall used bookstore, provided you don't mind playing Jenga as the stacks begin to topple. Run by a super nice guy, which adds to the experience.

The worker was very helpful about getting the books I needed. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Selection is fantastic for such a small store and interestingly very organized. Love this place

Cute, quiet, and quaint! The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful.

An extensive selection of books of and for all ages, and really great deals/prices in the store and on the tables outside too. I always go by looking for one or two specific books and leave with at least 2 or 3 I never planned on getting, but I also don't at all regret it. If you like stores where you are completely surrounded floor-to-ceiling by books that are both chaotically placed and pretty well organized, then I'd absolutely recommend this store to you.

An awesome little gem of a local bookstore. Used and new at excellent prices. They have a comprehensive selection of capital-L Literature (I was able to find Dorothy Sayers' translation of Inferno, which I had almost given up on finding). Very much peak independent bookstore vibes: small, cozy, every corner filled with stacks and stacks of books.

Very well curated collection, especially classics. Somewhat pricey for used books but they are all in good condition so its understandable.

I like this bookstore a lot. I went in today looking for a copy or copies of Brian Doyle's Angel Square - the quintessential Ottawa Christmas story - and left with two copies at great prices. This, with a quick chat, took less than three minutes. The owner was friendly, helpful and knew his stock! Plus it's quirky and independent.

Loved the used book store. Owner was so friendly and helpful. There was something beautiful about this book store...small and simple made me feel at home unlike those large book stores where I feel lost.

A must visit if you’re nearby! Don’t go in expecting to find something. There are stacks of books upon books. It’s easy to lose time in there and you are always bound to find something you like! During the warmer months, the amazing shopkeeper puts out stalls with books which are on sale. They offer great deals! Be sure to visit!!

Stopped in on a rainy Wednesday prior to the third wave, or is it the fourth, of the pandemic. There's a sentence I never thought I'd write. A store filled to the brim with decent curation and respectable prices. Kind and welcoming service. Someone give this man and his books some more space to stretch their legs.

All Books has always been my favourite book store in Ottawa. Few used book shops have decent selections of philosophy or history like this one. The place is crammed with piles of books, and searching through them can yield some exciting finds.
