One of my favourite stores inside Rideau. Always so clean with the only reliable washroom around! The employees there have been nothing but sweet and professional with me whenever I’ve bought something.

Best department store I have ever been in. Incredible staff who really know what customer service means. Reminded me of Goldbergs in Glasgow in the 1960s.

It's been 3 years since I came to Canada from South Korea.
My wife and I went to nordstrom to buy a gift for a friend.
I was looking for a product, but I couldn't find it.
There was a clerk who saw it and helped us. He found us about 30-40 minutes.

We cheered and even got gift wrapped and left nordstorm.

In fact, it was about $80.
It's not a huge amount.
But it reminds me of him, worked hard and reassured us.

the professionalism and kindness we felt was impressive.
I was curious about his name and could see the nameplate on his left shoulder. he showed the best service. Thank you very much Gavin :D

On august 6 2022, my girlfriend and I drove for 5 hours to go to Ottawa for a music show and while we are at it, stop at Nordstrom for our first time. I had in mind for a while to go to there to add a few Creed perfumes to my collection. The store was elegant, spacious, clean and well stocked. We arrived at the Creed booth and started to look around, there was a lot of choice. A few instances later an employee arrived, Justin. He was stylish and polite. He helped us discover all the Creed fragrances we wanted to smell and also many more brands like Tom Ford, Parfums de Marly, Jo Malone, Diptyque, etc. He was very good at listening to what we wanted without putting any pressure to buy or try more and was very professional. I bought 2 Creed fragrances: Aventus and Green Irish tweed. To my surprise he also offered us two 10 ml samples of the Creed fragrances of our choice. He also included as many samples as we wanted and even talked about sending some by the mail, when new ones arrived. The after-sale service is perfect, we exchanged phone numbers and he will keep me up to date and answer my questions. He even suggested a restaurant to dine at that was really delicious and affordable. The service was over our expectations. I am 100% a satisfied customer and will be coming back. Thank you Justin! Came in during boxing week to buy a pair of sneakers. Shannon was super helpful and great to deal with from start to finish! I ended up buying sneakers and a pair of boots and the ordering process in store was super easy. Very happy about the service received and will definitely return!

Went to purchase a blazer and had great help and advice! Was in and out much quicker than expected and left with a great fit and deal. Thank you to the amazing sales associate! We’ll definitely be back.

Great service! I had an awesome experience with the sales associate that helped me. She kept checking on me and consulted with me after I tried on each piece and she kept bringing me new pieces as well! She was honest and extremely helpful. The dress pant prices were also extremely reasonable ($31 on sale!)! The quality of everything they have is of course exceptional.

At last, class, quality, service and fashion beyond description!

Today was the most amazing experience at Nordstrom! Not sure what happened, but I hope they keep up this standard.

I went in browsing and Daniela helped me out. She was so incredible! She kept coming and finding me and taking things I picked up along the way to the fitting room for me. A few other associates came one grabbed my stuff and handed it to Daniela another kind of just walked away when I said Daniela was helping me.

Daniela was amazing - helpful l finding options based on what I was looking for also. Find Daniela the next time you're there to get the proper Nordstrom experience!

I am a huge fan of the shoe department here. I can always find something in my size whereas I can be limited at other stores which don’t stock as many above size 9. The service in this department is always very nice and there is lots of space to sit and walk around while trying on. The return policy is fantastic, no questions asked even if you have worn them.

The rest of the store can be a bit overwhelming, but if you are in the mood to hunt, there are great deals.

Superb customer service, exceptional selection-LOVE LOVE LOVE it here!!!!! Multiple price points for all budgets and the brands I am looking for. The women's washrooms are very lovely and sparkling clean and the restaurant is lovely. Wonderful shopping environment.

Bright clean and spacious. Everything is so well laid out. It's not cluttered. Making it easy to spot what you are looking for. They have a fantastic selection of shoes, bags, hats, jewellery, linens and cosmetics with the added bonus of being able to sample derm and cosmetics before purchase. Staff are really friendly in clothing areas. Change rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The little cafe is also nice. Great coffee. Such a fresh space to shop in.

Lots of merchandise to go through and very attentive employee's!
We bought some gift items here and they have free gift wrapping! A young man who wrapped it up was great, he put so much effort in it to get it just right, we were all just watching in silence...he was great!

Gavin has been my go to for perfumes in the beauty section. He provides excellent friendy service and is very knowledgeable about the products. It's always a pleasure seeing him!

There's very few times that I walk out of a store and think that each and every employee that I meet there was exceptional. And happily this was one of those times. Every staff person I meet was warm, friendly and helpful. No matter what I was buying they went above and beyond what they needed to do and made that personal connection. Keep up the amazing work and I'll be sure to pass on the praise to all my friends and family!

Shopping at Nordstrom at the Rideau Center was an amazing experience in every respect. Went there with a friend looking for shoes and the sales person Alice helped so much. She helped her find the perfect shoes for the perfect occasion in a casual untrusted fashion, thank you Alice for your help, you were wonderful.
