Very beautiful nature and a must do if you are naerby. You can also see a lot of animals and you have a lot of panoramic viewpoints on the route. If you want to escape the city for one day this place is ideal. It is an easy trail so also good for elderly people.

A very delightful trail surrounded by beautiful forrest, beaches, and wetlands. Birds eat off your hand, and there's even a nice natural wood playground. The entry fee is reasonable. Works year round, and great on the Winter and Fall.

A beautiful island trail. Great destination for those looking for a quiet day in nature. Few opportunities of wildlife observation, maybe a deer if you are lucky. We weren’t. Well maintained trails.

Lovely walking trails, so many birds that ate seeds out of our hands, saw a turtle, multiple herons, a marmot, and perhaps a muskrat? Great welcome center and facilities available. Really enjoyable three hours and we didn’t even do the entire length of the trail!

Beautiful place for a nature walk. Lots of birds and other wildlife - we spotted deer, turtles, butterflies. Lots of parking, nice cafe as well.

This place is perfect for those who likes long walks! It is beyond beautiful especially if you go during beginning summer. It took us about 3 hours of walking (we walked quite fast since we thought of more like a workout)

It is worth the visit!

A great family outing. Lots of birding opportunities, a playground for the kids, and if you want organic apples, bring your own bag to fill. There's an area to enjoy a picnic or purchase a treat from the cafeteria.

Wonderful place for walking and picnic! I was in late October -great view, but was in the end of colors! So couldn't imagine what a nice place for observing the Fall colors! Perfect for family picnic or solitary hangout. Highly recommended for birds lovers.

This is a great out of the way refuge that seems to be well known by the locals. It is a great place to go for a hike, and bird watching. It is great for kids as well. They have a small environmental center and a self guided Ecco tour. In season I believe you can rent kayaks. The hotel on the island is basic but affordable.

Visit early in the morning on the weekend or midday during the week, and the trails are quiet and roomy.

When you buy your tickets, ask for a bag of birdseed. It's $1 and it's PLENTY! My first time here was midday, on a weekday, in late April. We strolled with our birdseed-filled palms outstretched and the birds flew into our hands and snacked all along the trail. Pretty special place for a walk.

Beautiful space. You can purchase seeds and hand feed chickadees and woodpeckers. Saw a martin, deer, herons, turtles and many species of birds. My kids had a blast on the pirate ship obstacle course. Can't wait to return!

A fantastic spot to enjoy nature any season of the year. The entire 8km path can be enjoyed in a day and there is something that will please any photographer, ornitologist or nature lover. The entry fee is 12$ per adult. It has public parking at no additional cost and their small cafe is still working during the current restrictions.

Wow, such a wonderful place, so much wildlife! Bring your camera because there are owls, groundhogs, racoons, heron, swallows and so much more. The walk itself is very nice and easy would highly recommend.

Great natural reserve beside the St-Laurent River. Great to visit with kids, family or friends.
We saw a fox, a snake and a beaver.

Saw many different types of birds. Beautiful place to walk around either hiking or nature walking. Smell of Lac St Louis / St Lawrence River, with faunes and other walks of life.
Excellent day walks to taking photos of some of our gracious wildlife.

Very Peaceful & Natural place.
Great place to relax, picnic, walk & above all... feeding the birds!
Super fun place for kids and family!
You can buy seeds for one dollar, which should be sufficient.

Such a nice place. I celebrated my 30s birthday here in October, the colors were amazing.

Beautiful nature just a stones throw from Châteauguay and 20 mins from Montreal. This inexpensive animal and fauna reserve is brimming with wildlife. Walk through well maintained paths as you navigate up to 7 kilometres of trail (you have cut it in half if you prefer a shorter walk) Open year round and very well maintained this is a great way to spend an afternoon. You will find tables and chairs along your route to sit back and enjoy lunch if you want to bring a picnic. Very family friendly. ***also LGBTQ+ friendly

Highly recommended. The park is not very big, but quiet and comfortable. You are allowed to feed the birds here. You need patience.😊

It’s a parc you can easily walk it in 2 hours, but should you? I think it worth more of your time (day half a day) to really appreciate it as you would like to wonder and stop continually to appreciate its beauty. The scenery changes as you walk and cross different environments and habitats. It’s like 10 parks in one. If you are a bird lovers. This is the place. And you are at only 20 mins of Montreal. It’s a little wonder. And it cost only 5$ to enter.
