Expensive but nice place, nice employees, always full store.

As supermarkets go, this one stands out - for all the right reasons! I don't go there regularly (I have a much smaller but more convenient store nearby) but love shopping at the "Metro". It is beautifully laid out with wide aisles and a true, "welcoming" feel that is totaling lacking in most stores. As to food quality, what little I've bought (usually fruits and vegetables) was excellent and all the displays are fresh and very "clean"! Finally, I must comment on the staff: Superbe service - not just friendly but "pleasant" - as though they enjoyed the interaction with customers. (I only randomly met three employees - one of whom was the female manager filling in on the fast checkout cash - but that suggests my assessment applies to many/most employees.) I will return here as often as I can!

Shelves well stocked, friendly staff. Fresh selection of produce.

They do not have the biggest fruits and veggies aisles, but they have some of everything. Some days, you may end up with slim pickings left in the veggie baskets.
They do compensate for it with a bigger food and sweet meat counter. They have a very nice counter for spreads and garnishes.

This Metro has recently been renovated for the better. The staff is super friendly and their selection of micro brewery beers surpasses any other store in the region. Metro plus gets a 5 star!
