I did my research and was prepared for importing freight from the US into Canada. CSA responds quickly, has great customer service (I was always able to call and talk to a nice & knowledgable person over the phone), and they provided the cheapest rates. Would highly recommend them. I imported a 2000 lb pallet from Wisconsin to Montreal and they shipped so quickly! I placed the order on a Monday afternoon, and my pallet arrived Friday morning. The whole importing process was very smooth with them. I will definitely be using their services again.

MY order was supposed to be picked up in Montreal and delivered to Ottawa on a Wednesday, I was told late morning that the driver who was supposed to pickup was delayed due to his load being refused at another location, after a few back and froths with CSA I was told it would be picked up and delivered on Thursday instead, Thursday afternoon I received an email from the shipper saying that it has not yet been picked up, again told by CSA it would be picked up afternoon Thursday and delivered by 8am Friday, I have to drive to the delivery location that is 30 to 40 minutes away so I decided that I would start my day there instead and made arrangements to have someone cover me at our main location, after 3 phone calls to CSA my load was delivered at 12:00 also not receiving the 45 minute heads up call i paid for. The driver was very new (His first run) and couldn't back up the trailer without help from another transportation company's driver that happened to be close by, he also forgot to remove his trailers breaks. I would strongly recommend that you go else where for your transportation needs

I am the customer. I give them my business and I Pay them to do the job. They insult me, they hang up the phone in my face. They yell at me over the phone. Why? Because I ask them to deliver the pallet to the address on the waybill. Yes. It is correct. The address is for example 123 ABC street. There is only one building and one door for this address. The driver goes to 789 XYZ street. the side street of the building and stop at the gate and call me asking for code to open the gate. I keep explaining and repeating many times that you have to go to 123 ABC street. He says I am there and I need a code. I continue explaining and repeating in French & then to the customer service NIC in English. Same thing. Ask your driver to go to the address on the waybill 123 ABC. He replies. He is at this address. then I explain again then he says I Don't need to be insulted. and he hangs up the phone in my face. Even that I didn't mention any bad word or any hint to a bad word. I only said , ask your driver to go to the address on the waybill , open the door and there are 2 staff available and their job is to help drivers receiving shipments.
This CSA company staff are extremely rude, no logic, no sense , they don't listen, extremely disgusting, extremely insulting . The question is why they treat the customer like sh...* while they charge very high rates and they don't care? The answer : because there are not enough logistics companies to cover the demand.
To make the story worse, they promised to deliver Tuesday. On Tuesday they called to say the driver is at the location trying to deliver and no one there. ( I personally was there with 3 staff) Then they call again to say , the driver trying to call you , keep your phone open. hahahaha. I was at the location and my phone was open all the time. I looked for the truck and the driver around all the building. There was no driver. They were lying .
And after all this long story, and finally when the truck came to deliver on Wednesday and the driver accept to go the correct address , the driver dropped the pallet at the dock level and refused to roll it inside the unit. He asked for extra $50 to roll the pallet that already on the jigger inside the unit (takes 2 minutes).
What do you call this? Isn't this disgusting?

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Problem after problem. They look professional but this is only on the surface as their logistic is all wrong. Tail gate problem (only accept 1000 lbs per skid while most accept 2000 lbs) we had to spread our shipment over three skids instead of two, our delivery got delayed two days for lack of communications as they did not call us to try to resolve the problem, we found out from our client who hadn't received her order yet and she was mad. And to top it all, on the day of the delivery, they called us back to ask for more money because our skids were a bit larger than what had been originally specified but the total weight was the same. Our company deals with freight cies on a weekly basis throughout Canada and we have never seen anything like that before.

All these 1 star reviews show how BAD this transport company is. Stick with ATS transport or ARGUS or DHL. Way better and honest!
We have been in business over 25 years and won many awards of excellent service.
CSA TRANSPORT are a JOKE.
RULE #1 in business: Don't blame the customer. If you decide to take a contract to deliver merchandise, THEN DO YOUR JOB AS A TRANSPORT COMPANY. Don't make excuses like we couldn't find parking etc... IT IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND YOU MAKE THE BUSINESS LOSE MONEY!

I should of checked reviews on this garbage company before sending do not work with this company you will wait weeks to recieve shipment and ZERO customer services they will shut the phone in your face very disrespectful, zero care for your bussiness or any customers stay away avoid at all cost
