M.T.L. Bagel

I drive from Ottawa for their bagels and cream cheese, sometimes multiple times a week. They're that good!
Everything is so good, buy my all time favorites are their spicy everything bagels, cheese bagels with sugar & olive cream cheese.

I love the bagels here. Every member of staff is very nice, kind and I get my food fast. If u r in Cote Saint Luc or Montréal West, the Bagel store has a great selection of bagel seasonings and lunch meal options.

The bagels really are different in Montreal relative to the States (but maybe not as life changing as the tourist blogs would have you think). Great food and service here. Small no nonsense store. All bagels are good, but I particularly liked the sesame and everything. Don’t forget to get some of the delicious spreads off to your right too!

It was an interesting experience to see how the employee was getting the fresh dough dipped into sesame seeds and line them up in the wood firing oven. Pretty impressive! I can confirm that these bagels have this unique taste and texture that you do not normally come across. They have such a variety: blueberry, cinnamon, onion, garlic, sesame, cranberry coconut, just to name a few.
I also picked up a smoked salmon and a smoked meat bagel sandwich. The generous portion of cream cheese makes these sandwiches such a delight and made our Sunday lunch extra special.

A hidden gem! Definitely beats the common ‘big names’ for bagels in Montreal. So many flavours to choose from with unique combinations such as banana and chocolate. My favourite definitely has to be the spicy all-dressed, just wow!!!
Highly recommend their bagel sandwiches! They really don’t hold back on the cheese, just delicious!

Bagels are always fresh and delicious. Try their tuna salad - they should call it spicy tuna - it’s delish!! Their purchase and points system is wacky - but hey - it’s all about the bagels - right!!

I had a bagel with coleslaw dressing. It was amazing. The bagels were super fresh.
If you have a sweet tooth, try the chocolate puff or cinnamon. I tried the chocolate puff. It was very soft and gooey. I went in the morning, had a great breakfast. Great experience.

Bagels are always fresh and delicious. So glad we discovered this little gem in our neighbourhood.

Quick drive to the very nice bagel shop. Always fresh and soft, so close to home that it would be a crime not to get some.

I just went there today with my boyfriend and not only were they kind and courteous, the bagels are DELICIOUS. The bagels are crispy of the outside, and soft on the inside, but they're not undercooked and doughy in the center like some other bagel shops. Very welcoming people, also many interesting and yummy different types of bagels that I haven't seen before. If you love bagels, make this your Mecca.

Best bagel we ever had. We had a sesame bagel with cream cheese and an apple turnover. The cream cheese is generous and smooth and creamy. The sesame was baked to crunchy and fragrant. The apple filling is smooth, refreshing and not too sweet. You can also taste the freshness of the flour they use.

As good or better than St-Viateur without the traffic or parking hassles. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you have purchased their reusable shopping bag, each time you visit with it, they will give you a baker’s dozen for the first dozen purchased. They also make their flavoured cream cheeses and sandwiches in house with the finest ingredients. All kinds of interesting varieties including multigrain and the current fad: “Everything”. I’m an old school sesame guy- poppy seeds get caught in my teeth ;-)
