I was urgently looking for plumbing assist and Johnny who was in the “Building Materials” section was able to provide a thorough analysis on how to choose the right solution based on how my sink was built. He also gave his feedback on pros and cons of each option. Thank you Johnny!!

Just when I thought I had given up on Rona, this location swayed me back. I had a terrible experience at the Grandview location. I bought an item that was defective and I needed an exchange. I called Rona Richmond and explained the situation. They dealt with the problem considerately and professionally. All the Staff and Manager were exceptional. They would go above and beyond for their customers. Big shoutout to Samantha! I highly recommend Rona Richmond for all your home projects and needs.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to the Lumber Yard staff at the Bridgeport Rona on May 4th between 12-1. I went there with my daughter to get some wood for a project and they were super kind and helpful in making her feel welcome, showing her how the cutoff saw worked and commending her hard work in helping load all the wood. She had an awesome time.

Appreciate Nick’s help today. He was patient and nice enough to help me unscrew/screw the lock and guided me to buy the related stuff. It brings me confidence to buy products at Rona as I know I will get full support on it : )

Really love the hospitality and customer service in this location! Especially shout out to Nick and John at building material section who were helping me figure out what I need for my house, they also go above and beyond helped me remove some wood strips that was bothering me. 5 star well deserved because of them!

Max at services is excellent. He helped me today with a drill/cut. He’s friendly, patient, and made sure the job was done right. 5 stars!

Just had a fantastic experience at RONA. A helpful clerk named Mark F, who was ever so informative regarding the difference of the various mouse traps being sold, was helping another customer with the same problem as I had. Came just at the right time to hear what he had to share regarding the pros and cons of the many varieties of mouse traps being sold

Mark went as far as demonstrating the product to both of us customers by explaining each step of the way on how to get the product to work. Of course we both ended up buying what he thought was the best for our needs. Can’t say enough on how great it was to actually know how to operate a product without the hassle of trying to figure it out by myself.

Huge KUDOS to Mark for his fabulous customer service!!

Big shout out to the store and staff of RONA Richmond who didn't hesitate when I called to inquire about purchasing 37 fans I wanted to donate to residents of a long term care facility where my mom is a resident as well. Thank you so much for saying YES when other stores said NO. You have helped in making the lives of 37 residents much happier.

Last week, I wanted to install privacy screens in my patio and I just wanted to do it on the same day. Since morning, I went to Canadian Tire, Home Depot and other shops, but couldn’t find what I was looking for. No one spent time to give me some ideas. Then I went to Rona with my friend around late afternoon (Completely hopeless)
Samantha, one of the Rona’s staff, helped us alot. She spent time to give us ideas, helped us to pick up each and everything we required including the screws, wood, drill, privacy screens, etc. My friend and I had not touched a drill in our whole entire lives.
We told her that we don’t know how to use the drill and she gave us some tips and then she said:” If I can do it, you can do it too.”
Here is what my friend and I built on the same day (I attached a picture of a part of my patio) and I am very thankful to Samantha.
She is patient, knowledgeable, approachable, and caring. She was amazing when it came to communication, collaboration, reliability, work quality, problem-solving, and timeliness.

I have been in the store almost every week for buying something, and the service members are always nice and helpful, some of them are super friendly.

What more can I say about excellent help/advice offered to me by the same helpful staff again yesterday? THANK YOU!

Just got some excellent service from a middle age grey hair gentleman in glassses working at the service desk. (I didn't get his name) I needed help to match my screws with some washers. He was busy but still came back to look for me at the Isle where the nails and screws were stocked and helped me to decide on the right product! I will shop again and again there!

The staff in the store was knowledgeable. I was looking for a planter and the staff was right around the corner, in their areas and can be easily found for help. He knew exactly where the items were. I saw him help another customer and he brought him to the grass seed area. The customer just picked up the phone and started talking without giving the staff anything response. The staff actually waited for him for a couple of minutes before the customer just walked away before the staff returned to what he was doing before. I saw another guy helping a customer with charcoal packs. The staff had great attitude and was friendly. Great service, the store is organized, the staff is knowledgeable.

Michelle was very helpful ordering something I couldn't find nor did Rona carry anymore. Thank you for your help. They do good work here.

Staff was really kind and helpful. I had to return something that’d I’d thrown the receipt out for and I wasn’t sure they’d be able to help. But they looked it up and gave me my money back, and we’re nice about it. :)

Over the last 5 years I have relied on this place over and over again and every single time they have what I'm looking for. Other stores show it in stock, then I get there and customer service has no clue what year it is, this place has people who are friendly and know what they're doing, it's really nice. I have been in construction for 20 years and this place has never let me down once, where HD, CT, and others , I drive around from store to store then call here and of course; i should have started here. Hi just wanted to give a shout out to Laura the manager at Rona Richmond store.
We had a faulty air conditioner and after speaking with the manufacturer (as your not to bring it back to Rona) we got the okay to file a return with Rona. Laura was exceptional with her expertise and her friendly manner. She arranged to have the old one picked up from my elderly inlaws n have it replaced in person. We were so happy to not have to pack this heavy machine up and my inlaws were so happy to have such friendly drivers install the new one.

It's a hardware store.
The staff are all very helpful.
The aisles are clean and generally well organized.
Unfortunately, there are a few shortages for stock on the shelves, but every retailer is in a similar situation right now.
We found everything we were looking for.

Johnny and Jack were super helpful in helping me find the adapters and tubing for my home plaster trap for pottery. Truly great and friendly service, they are passionate about their jobs. Will definitely recommend my friends and families here
