They have an amazing selection of local craft beers, the best one i have found in the west end. I found the prices to be the same as if you bought the beers directly from the brewery. Service has always been very friendly, can also order online, which is very convenient.

Had exactly what I wanted, and cashier was very friendly! He let me know that the sour I wanted was on a limited run, so I was able to stock up and buy more! Great service.

The young girl with the glasses that works the counter is really friendly and professional. Was recommended not to go to this location from a friend, but she left such a good impression of this place, I will definitely be returning and recommending this location!

Great liquor store with a wide selection. I think of it as a mini Sherbrooke due to the selection. They also have a deal where you get some % off if you have a community league membership. I think it is 10% off but don’t quote me.

Owners of Sandylane Liquor are resilient. A few years back the shared building they are in burnt down, no fault of their own and instead of moving on, they rebuilt. The new store is better than ever. Nicer layout, allowing them to offer more of the beer, wine and liquor we all love. The part I personally appreciate is they stuck by the local ice company I work at when a few years back we went through some challenging times. They showed us loyalty when we weren’t perfect which says a lot about the character of the owners. All small businesses have ups and downs, but by sticking together we are able to survive and prosper against the giants in our respective industries. Because of people like those who run Sandylane I have a job. Every time I bring ice to Sandylane I remember that. If you want a great selection and to know your money is going to good people, try Sandylane. They sell local when it comes to beer, liquor and ice meaning jobs around where we live!

I had an at home ladies night wine tasting with Frank. It was fantastic! Frank picked out a theme for our event and brought forth tons of great information and knowledge. He impressed both the wine newbies and the connoisseurs. He made it fun and light and his choices were excellent. I was so impressed! I highly recommend him for your private wine tastings. Superb!

My go-to liquor store, the best in the west end. Easy to pop in after work, just off 156. Whether I'm looking for a wine to go with dinner, new craft beers, a fine spirit, or easy refreshments, I'll find it here. The staff is great and Frank has introduced me to some summertime favourites. A++ would recommend!

Sandy Lane and the manager prove that size doesn't matter! You don't need to have the biggest store to be the best store. At Sandy Lane you will encounter staff and a manager who care about seeing your needs met, and enlightening you to something new if you're open to it. They are also always willing to hear what you have to say if you've tried something new somewhere else. Don't see what you're looking for on the shelve? Ask them, and they can probably get it in for you with a smile!

And if you're planning for an event, maybe a wedding? Tom (Manager) is your guy to help you put together a list. He's a magician when it comes to estimating how much you'll need.

They also have these awesome monthly subscriptions which make great gifts too.

Ordered a specialty bottle of liquor for my Dad’s 100th birthday from their online store. Spoke to the manager Tom Bell and he was fantastic to deal with! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made the shopping experience amazing! I will for sure be recommending this store and Tom and his team to anyone that needs liquor help. Looking forward to stopping into the store to meet Tom and his knowledgeable staff next time I am in Edmonton. Thanks again Tom!

Whoever does the hiring here is amazing. The entire staff is phenomenal. Prices are great, always cool deals, and mega huge props to whoever thought of and created the HAND MADE beer advent calendars. Glad this is my local store :)

Excellent service, I ordered a gift basket and it was so beautifully put together. They provided great choices of beers. I would, and will, definitely buy again.

I recently participated in a wine tasting demonstration hosted by Frank, of the Sandy Lane liquor store.

Frank’s relaxed, unpretentious way of sharing his knowledge and love of wine made the experience not only informative but great fun.

There are a lot of liquor stores in Edmonton but I want a place where I can count on good advice from people who are happy to be there.
