A wonderful little spot for a quick coffee or to sit and have breakfast!

I was on vacation in Ottawa and went here 3 days in a row. Everything I tried was excellent. I appreciated the time the barista took making each drink and chatting with customers. It was great to see many regulars and that the staff knew them and their orders the second they walked through the door.

Excellent place for quick coffee or a casual lunch. We went in for a coffee and ended up going back later in ghetto day for lunch. The coffee was great, we had their dark roast because we like a strong coffee and we were not disappointed. Then we had some wonderful sandwiches for lunch. Service is very friendly and quick and the atmosphere is casual and pleasant.

A comfortable and sweet coffeeshop! The varied and delicious menu, excellent coffee & espresso drinks, and scrumptious baked goods keep me coming back again and again. Good for a coffee date and very family friendly. We're fortunate to have them in town!

Such a quiet and quaint lunch room. This restaurant is locally owned and operated. Loved the food. All the dishes are made on site. Homemade food at very competitive prices. We'll return as we loved the hometown flavor and excellent hometown service.

I had the pleasure of discovering this little gem over this past winter. I've had the pleasure of enjoying a few great cups of coffee, as well as their specialty coffee, and the baked goods and sandwiches are tremendous. Nice quiet spot to enjoy some me-time, or a conversation with friends. Well done!

This is a quiet little hole in the wall that is absolutely wonderful. So charming and hospitable. The food is all home made, and the staff are very friendly. I definitely recommend this little coffee shop to everyone.

Cute cafe in Carleton place. Delicious baked goods made in house.. Love the pumpkin loaf and lemon brownie! Coffee is excellent as well and always has good tunes playing.

I've posted the same thoughts on other sites, but will do the same for Under Pressure Coffee House here. This place is a new gem in town. By far the best coffee you can buy in Carleton Place. I recently drove by the Tim Hortons on Franktown Road, passing a line-up in the drive-thru that stretched out onto the street. For a little bit more money, those same folks could head over to Lansdowne Avenue to Under Pressure and get a superior cup of coffee for a just bit more money. Under Pressure also provides a better-tasting coffee at a lesser cost than Starbucks. The owner has her new place decorated with the work of local artists, demonstrating her support for the community. Here's my advice to coffee lovers in Carleton Place - give Under Pressure a try and experience it yourself. I'm willing to bet you'll feel much better about the visit after you taste the coffee, knowing you're supporting a local business owner who is earning the support.

Great place to hang out for coffee. Super desserts and great sandwiches. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Sandwiches are excellent are are very reasonably priced. Tell your friends about this place it is a hidden gem.

Service was quick and the drink we ordered was great as usual! I've been here twice now and the service has always been the same. The atmosphere is wonderful and it has a coffee shop vibe to it.

Great smoothies, amazing turkey bacon club sandwich and friendly service. Two large sandwiches, two fresh smoothies and two dessert squares for under $40.

Nice quiet place for a coffee (Bridgehead) and sandwich. Friendly service and a very good Americano. Will seek it out on future visits.

Lovely place with art on the walls, great coffee and sandwiches. Had the turkey sandwich, was cold cuts and not real turkey meat but still very good.

Great little cafe. Worth the effort of finding it. Have been several times. Consistently good service and beverages.

If you have not tried this really lovely coffee house you must. I don't drink coffee but her chai lattes and her baked goods are to die for!! Please try it.
