Atel Air is phenomenal. The energy, accommodation and professionalism of the service team surpasses all expectations. To Jimmy, Mark, Brian ,Adam and Noah our sincerest of thanks for the expertise and congenial personalities we had the pleasure to interact with.
My husband says I have the "GIFT" of the gab but in this instance it is difficult for me to find enough words to reflect how impressed we are with all of the work completed and the cleanup thereafter.

I highly recommend the Atel Air team! I was in a bind as our old water heater bit the dust! Jackson Thom came out to visit me this morning and provided me with a very competitive quote to replace it with a Rheem model. I accepted the offer and was only expecting delivery and installation on Monday. This would have been a bit of an inconvenience to us. At lunchtime I received a call from him saying his team could do the work this afternoon!! I was ecstatic! His techs Matt and Adam did a fantastic and professional job in replacing it and ensured all my questions were answered. They cleaned up and left no debris. I am one very happy new customer! Thank you!

As usual, the Atel Air gentleman that came to do the maintenance on my furnace was very professional and extremely friendly. Thanks to a misadventure on my part, my heat pump stopped working. I called my HVAC contractor, Atel Air, the company that installed the unit, and they had a technician in the area who came to my home shortly after my call for service. The tech quickly discovered the problem and restored my unit to good working order. Thank you, Atel Air!

The HVAC industry is an incredibly unregulated industry. Do yourself a favour and when selecting a company to do home improvements with choose Jimmie and his team at Atel Air. I had another company install a geothermal system in my house incorrectly ( costing me thousands of dollars) and Jimmie has been insurmountable in answering any questions I have and to make recommendations. Make the right choice the first time.

ATEL Air recently identified the need for efficient air-exchanging and humidity levels to make my home more comfortable. Service Manager Greg Millard inspected the home and suggested an HV installation as well as a humidifier furnace attachment and both were installed by ATEL Air. They've made a significant improvement in my home.
ATEL Air also provided the services of an electrician to create separate panels for my cook-top and wall-oven after a kitchen re-do.
Excellent service, prompt and professional. Highly recommend.

Atel Air had installed the previous heat pump in the house I recently bought as they did the service on it for the last 15 years ever since it replaced the baseboard heaters, so I decided after meeting Jimmie that they could keep on servicing it for my family.

I met with Jimmie to discuss some possible work, he is very polite, listened to my thoughts and gave me a quote for what I wanted along with some additional recommendations. I also got their Gold maintenance plan to keep the old heat pump going which is why I had contacted Atel Air in the first place.

I did have some of the work done based on his recommendations which has worked out very well with regard to re-working the basement duct work for better comfort after I had the basement spray foamed.

He also recommended that I should consider replacing the 14 year old Lennox heat pump as it was coming up on end of life, but that cost was not int he plans for me at that time. Jimmie contacted me this past winter to let me know about the updated GreenON rebate program and the rebate I would receive if I replaced the old heat pump with a much more efficient Mitsubishi Zuba heat pump. He gave me an updated quote, I did some reading in to the Zuba, discussed it at home and less than a month later Jimmie's team was in to do the replacement.

The Atel Air team was very polite and took the time to include me in the decision process about the duct work layout to accommodate the new air handler unit in the basement. They did fantastic work.

The Zuba unit is much quieter than the old unit and I can see the decrease in Hydro usage already.

Atel Air will be back to install a whole house back up generator next year as it is just not in the budget this year. I recommenced Atel Air to a good friend, Jimmie met with him and my friend is having his home generator installed next month by Atel Air.

All-in-all, a great experience and looking forward to when the team is back for the next job.

======Update December 2023=======

I'm 5 years into my Atel Air installed Mitsubishi ASHP and it is still going strong. A yearly checkup is performed by Atel Air's excellent technicians and everything is always in spec and that's it. When it gets cold out I love hearing, more a sensation of, the exterior dual fans are spooling up...it lets me know it is doing its job.

As usual the service rendered by Kevin was appreciated, his young ears pick-up the problem right away. It was not the equipment of any systems that you maintain but the door bell ringer situated jus above the 2 thermostats (controls for heating and hot water). Kevin saved us many dollars and trouble, thanks again.

An absolutely PHENOMENAL company. Atel, you have always been there when we needed you with the kindest staff we have ever dealt with. We needed a pressure test before Enbridge would re-connect our gas due to a neighbor's unsecured object damaging our gas meter during a windstorm. Atel got Matt to respond so fast and he was unbelievable. He actually saw that there was a leak on Enbridge's side of the meter, organized their return, and left his CONTACT DETAILS just in case questions were asked by Enbridge. We have had nothing but incredible service from Atel and you are our one and only HVac company!

Atel did an electrical job at our establishment in Morrisburg. They were very timely in their response to giving a quote and to completing the task . The staff is friendly & professional & they take pride in satisfying their customers.

The work for maintenance for our water unit was done efficiently and promptly.Always good service.We have been clients for many years and will continue to use Atel Air for our service requirements.

Referred to ATEL from friend who had great work done by them for an entire house (they converted to full heat pump and fossil-fuel living).
I got them to install a new water heater. They were able to help me choose between the different options (tank, tankless, heat pump) and locations. They were responsive and on time. After I accepted the quote (which arrived same day as the visit - about similar prices as I was expecting), we set up a day the next week for the install to take place.
Installers were professional and worked well, didn't cut corners. Anything that was beyond what was initially discussed was explained to me before they made any alterations or cuts. It turns out there was a hiccup that - had it been discovered before the contract was signed - would have cost significantly more (Around 20% increase to contact). That being said, they honoured their price and did not charge me for the significant extra work they put in, and were still able to do it same-day.
Very professional, honourable, honest, and timely! Did not leave a mess behind.
Oooh Also used a fancy thick metal back panel for the water heater, not some flimsy anything or constructed 2*4's or anything - good quality metal back panel!

Update: There was a warranty issue with the heating unit, but Atel Air managed to get an appointment the next day to get it sorted out. They performed a temporary fix, and then rushed a part to fix it just a few days later. Given that I am not in their typical service area, I call this going above and beyond to get it all done that fast!

Great team always there when you need. They have fixed my heat pump, look after my annual maintenance, professional, courteous = recommended!

The ATEL Air team replaced our old natural gas boiler system with a new Navien NFC250/175 Combi Boiler and the accompanying plumbing and electrical upgrades. Greg's team of Matt, Larry, Kevin, and Jeff effectively transitioned our 1956 collection of pies and valves into 2023 with professionalism and master craftsmanship. The job was completed in a timely manner with great attention paid to safety and cleanliness. They are a courteous group and very easy to speak to and get clear answers or explanations from. We enjoyed working with them from the intial meeting with Jimmie and Jackson.
Our system had a few "hiccups" that needed to be attended to upon installation and the team at ATEL Air was VERY quick to attend to the modifications and adjustments to MAKE THING RIGHT. We were MOST thankful for their quick attention in these matters and are pleased to be members of their VIP list.
