Parc des Rapides is one of the most beautiful parks for bird lovers, magnificent views and stunning wildlife located on the banks of Saint-Lawrence river. I have been visited this place couple of times and it has always been my favourite place for walks and photography.

If you are close to this area, come here. We loved it! We walked around the whole park which was less than 2km and it is a very flat yet pretty easy place to walk. You will get to many areas where you can see the rapids, it’s very exciting to see that amount of water going through the river. This is a great place to have a picnic and simply relax. We parked on a side street and walked in for free.

Am amazing little park more like an island with lovely birds, ducs, lakes, waves, little bridges, trees, flowers, etc adding to its beauty. It is a soothing place to go to for a walk or fo water activity. Highly recommend it for a family or friends visits anytime... Particularly during spring, summer or fall season.

This whole area IS what keeps me in Lasalle. It's one beautiful place. I Walk here all the time . In summer I Pic-nic & paddle board. It is my sanctuary. Not just for the birds ; )
My beloved dog loves it here also & recommends it. One would not be disappointed to visit. To have it in your backyard is a blessing and truly a treasure. Magnificent any time of the year. A Magical place!!!

Very beautiful place to walk or bicycling. I loved everything about the place. Many entrances for stand up paddling, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, rafting. Many places to sit and get a little bit of sun seeing people walking their dogs or exercising. Very cool vibe to get some steam out and relax. Many big trees around, well kept place which really worth a visit.

Beautiful park surrounded by birds chirps and the sound of river, added with a nice breeze during summer time, it’s a perfect hike with kids. They will see a variety of vegetations, flowers and insects along the way. A good 2 hours walk :)

Peaceful place to sit and think, or just to go listen to the waves crashing. The trail is a nice length not to long. ware bug spray. Lots of sitting places for you to have conversations with people or just to look at the water. Very calming, very clean.

On a nice sunny summer day this is probably the most beautiful park in Montréal. The waves, the flowers, the paths, the birds, the bees, the fish. Everything is just so perfect. Come on Sunday afternoons to watch an interactive demonstration about the fish of the St. Laurent river, and bring your kids!

I personally think the Parc des Rapides is one of the best parks in Montreal. I really love strolling around this park with my family during Spring to Fall, and it just gives me tranquility and inner-peace. I highly recommend this place.

I find this place a very beautiful environment to visit and enjoy the scenery. What is special about this area is that you can see the fast waves of the Saint Lawrence River, you can also find many types of migrating birds. The area has free parking and is easy to access. A must visit for everyone.

A lovely spot for a summer stroll. While I haven't visited during winter, I believe it remains accessible year-round.

This is a great place to take time off from the city, even in winter. I couldn't believe how beautiful it is here, with trails for hiking and cross country skiing. I've lived in LaSalle for about 7 months now, and this is my first visit here. I will definitely be coming here more, bringing with me friends and family. Thoroughly impressed.

Pure enchantment by the St-Lawrence river rapids. This promenade has been routed with brilliantly crafted railings, benches, picnic tables and to top it off...even garbage cans. I was incredibly impressed with the whole process that went into highlighting this gem of a place. The bonus...it's all free! Now for an important security suggestion...place some key barriers where one can fall off many points along the paths...very dangerous!
To conclude...thanks for showcasing such an amazing place.

Quickly became one of my favorite parks in montreal. Think of anything you'd want in a park, and this one has everything and beyond. A little escape from the crazy city life, well within the city. A lot of playgrounds for kids, many workout parks, a bike path that follows from champlian Bridge, and links the park of René Lesveque. There's a surfer's area, many access points to the river, a crazy dance area (it's always full of good people and even crazier energy). Not too far, there's wellington St. full of very nice and cozy cafes, if you're feeling extra hungry. Would 100% recommend it.

Parc des Rapides is a truly stunning destination located near the Saint Laurent River in Montreal. I recently visited this park and was immediately taken aback by its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The walking path provides the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature without leaving the city. The views of the Saint Laurent River are simply breathtaking, and the park is home to a variety of wildlife that makes for a truly immersive experience. Whether you're looking to take a leisurely stroll, jog, or bike ride, Parc des Rapides is a must-visit destination for anyone in the Montreal area.

Great park for a nice walk. Had a few hours to kill and came over here to explore a little. Was pleased to find this nice park on the banks of the river. Plenty of paths to explore and lots of markers with information on the history of the area. It is also a conservation area protecting many bird species that migrate or live here all year round.
