Lachine Lighthouse

Lachine Lighthouse is the best place to see the sunset and photography. I have visited this place several times and every time it was amazing. It’s also great for the stroll around the Saint-Lawrence river, quiet and peaceful place, a bit far from the busy city life. However, it is easy to get there by public transportations. Personally, I like this place more in winter because of the beautiful texture developed after the snow fall.

really nice place to watch the sunset or just to chill with your friends, they have water fountains which is great, lots of benches and a dairy queen nearby.

Beautiful spot.
I went on a weekday. There is plenty of parking available. The good thing is that you can pay parking for the amount of time you will be there and the fee is really low (something like 1.5 per hour).

There are plenty of water activities that you can do, Cano, fish or Kayak. There is a rental place if you don't have your own boat.

Nice park around for picnics.

Beautiful park offering a view on the Lachine Lighthouse. There’s a boat dock, volleyball field, bathrooms and more around. A peaceful place for a walk or bike ride by the water. Bixis are also available on site.

Surely not the last time at Lachine Lighthouse. Great cozy place to relax and enjoy the good weather. There were more fishermen than I thought I'd come across though.

I was impressed by this location and thought, I could definitely do a beautiful street photography shoot here.

Next time I might just bring the baby bird and put her in the air 😎.

Great place to unwind. People around there seem nicer and less snobby then the other waterside locations in the west. Lots to see, fisher-ppl, wildlife, ppl watching and great places to sit and ponder.

Really cute abs nice place for a walk, there’s bike trail and walking trail along the river. Many people were there fishing near the light house.

Cute little lookout! Great spot to hang out and relax by the water. You can drive right up to the lookout. There's a DQ right across the street so you can get ice cream and just hang out. Gets a little buggy in the summertime. Also right off the bike path so it's a nice place to stop in the summer!

Very nice area for jogging and biking and have an amazing view of Sunset.

One of the best Sunset spots in Montreal. It parallels Parc Rene Levesque. Only downside is the limited parking but people usually come and go

Nothing special, but you can see the Saint Lawrence river very close and feel its immense power.

Watch out for kids / drunk persons as the railing around the pier are very low and It is easy to fall into the river..
