The Piano Inn and Cafe

Gem of a restaurant in the middle of downtown port perry with unique and tasty food options. The bacon, pear and baked brie sandwich was surprisingly good! I don't usually like fruit in my sandwiches with meat but this was quiet good. I love their French onion soup and red pepper soup when they have it.

We have been going here for years now and the service and food have always been great. The owner Christy always has a smile and the staff are equally happy!!! We have had the oppportunity to try almost everything on the menu and its always good and never disappoints. Drop by for lunch and enjoy the ambience inside this quaint restaurant and around the historic town of Port Perry.

Had the pleasure of finding this little hidden gem while in Port Perry. Had lunch with my sister. Food was outstanding service excellent. Gluten free options as well. It’s a must try again and again. Food was excellent.

we had a wonderful meal and a fun time with Christy and her attentive staff . the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The history of the Piano Inn and Cafe is so interesting, especially when described by the actual owner who sat with us for awhile.

Had lunch with some friends and it was such a great experience. From the menu being all one price to the service and the meal so tasty. The owner came by to see how we liked everything! Great little gem!

Simply amazing :) My wife and I got carried away with the food that we forgot to take photos. The food was terrific, the service was outstanding, and the interior and the mood of the establishment is something created by the culture of the Port Perry neighborhood, and it was an experience that I am glad I was able to take part in. High recommend the soup and the sandwich combo with dessert; roasted red pepper vine tonato soup with cranberry, mozza, brie & chicken sandwich, finished off with any dessert on the menu.

I had a delicious bacon brie and pear Mac and cheese here with a red pepper soup. 10/10 would recommend. Great service and very friendly owner too!

I frequent the Cafe and have found the food consistently amazing. I usually get take-out and the staff is always professional, friendly and on time. I always look forward to their food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was on holiday from Scotland in July 2022 and popped into the cafe, the staff, service and food was amazing, was back this year and was so disappointed that it was closed for refurbishment, however I met Christie the owner who could not have been more courteous to me, I was interested in the filming that had taken place at the cafe and she offered to share some photos of the filming.
Looking forward to visiting here when I’m back next year.

What can I say - if you want to feel like you’re in a Hallmark movie go for lunch at the Piano Inn and Cafe. The quiche and homemade soup is always my go to lunch. I love it but the grilled cheese looks amazing and the wonderful desserts. It is very quaint and the staff are always friendly. I have never stayed in the rooms they rent out but I hear they are very nice.

The homemade soup was incredible! Sandwiches were also fabulous. It was only my first time there and my group was welcomed liked we were family. Make reservations as it is obviously a well loved spot to eat.

If you're looking for a cool and quintessential small town getaway, then the Piano Inn/Cafe in Port Perry is the place to be. The food in the restaurant is fantastic (literally the best sandwich I've ever had). If you can get a room, they are all unique and very comfortable. We'll hopefully be going back in June when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy the lake as well!

A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. We were told we may have to wait a bit for our food but the wait was not long and our server, Erin was always checking on us. My chicken, brie and cranberry sandwich was very good but the cauliflower soup with poblano (who knew they pair so well) was absolutely delicious. The owner checked in on us periodically which was very nice. First visit but definitely not last.

I have lived in Port Perry for over 10 years and I don't know how I haven't visited this quaint restaurant until now!! The service is amazing and like no other. The owner gave is her number one recommend items and gave us delicious add ons to our meal on the house. She has worked hard for her succuss and it is clear to see it has definitely paid off! Food is to die for and will definitely fill you up for a great price! Their grilled cheeses are amazing!

Piano Cafe has the best lunch menu. Had the Mac & Cheese and salad. Simply amazing food and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again

A great experience. Owner/manager checked our meal. Tessa our server, was great on the back patio. My wife had the pear, walnut, goat cheese and chicken salad and I had chicken, brie, bacon wrap. Both were excellent. Would definitely return. Popular around lunch; make a reservation

Went for a drive with a friend today to Port Perry to check out the Piano Cafe which came highly recommended. It was well worth the drive and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! It was FANTASTIC! From start to finish we had a great time. We were greeted by Christy who made us feel like we were coming to visit family. We felt welcome from the minute we got there. We were seated quickly. I suggest making reservations as it is a busy place.I will tell you why it is so busy...the food is delicious, the service is friendly and great and the ambience is perfect. It is a happening place. We enjoyed onion soup, quinoa salad and a brie and fig sandwich. Everything was extremely delicious and portions were great! We ended our lunch with a s'mores sundae and carrot cake cheesecake. OMG! They were incredible! It is really worth the drive and we can't wait to go back!!!!

Always love coming here for lunch with my friends the atmosphere is great the waitresses are very busy (as they should be) but they get to you as fast as they can and always with a smile.. the owner came up to our table to check on us and was very kind and funny. AND they have a great ice cream store owned by the owners son and has a great selection of Kawartha Dairy ice cream
