I just wanted to share that we were driving along the 401 eastbound and doesn't our car hit tire debris. As we pull off at the Big Apple noticed some fluid coming out of the bottom of the vehicle. Contacted Tim's Auto Repair as they were the closest and they were able to get us in right away. From the time the phone was answered by lovely staff to having the mechanics look at the car it was under an hour. They are very gracious and we are extremely thankful for their expertise.

Hands down the best service! We were driving on the 401 and noticed our car hood was loose! Just happened that Tim’s was the closest repair place and we are thankful it was. They were able to not only look at but also repair the hood - there was a loose spring - in record time. They were friendly, speedy and very gracious. Very much appreciated their help in resolving what could have been a very dangerous situation. Would highly recommend.

We second that! We were driving back to Michigan on 401 and a low oil level came up. Pulled into their driveway. In no time, one of their associates was with us in no time. Fixed the oil issue and placed 3 missing tire caps. We were back on the road in no time! No charge!! God sent..literally!

We are on the Ontario Hot Rod Tour 2024, when one of our club members is having trouble with his early 50’s Dodge. The tour organizer tell my friend to contact Tim. Upon arrival, Tim took the car for a drive and said it’s starving for gas. After returning to the shop and pulling the carb off, it’s found to have dirt dobbers blocking the carb. Tim cleans it, gets the old Dodge running great and then refuses any payment. Thanks from the Lake Erie Coast Cruisers, our payment to you is a positive review. If I lived up here, he’d be working on all my equipment.

On a family trip from Guelph to Montreal we had an unsettling sound coming from the car. When we took a pit stop at the Big Apple I googled mechanics and found this absolute gem! On a Friday afternoon this legend greeted us with a great personality and immediately took the car for a drive. While we waited we had a quick and friendly chat with who I think was his wife. Great lady. Upon arrival, Tim hurried into the shop to grab the torque wrench for the wheel lugs and tighten all tires. He refused payment and only took some money when forced. Thanks Tim’s Auto!

Was cruising on the 401 out of Toronto towards Montreal and noticed an unusual amount of vibration in the steering of my CR-V. Seemed like poor alignment or wheel balancing and since I was headed on a long trip, decided to get it looked at. Googled nearby service and found Tim's to have great reviews. Pulled in and was greeted by Tim himself who offered to take the car for a spin. He quickly diagnosed the problem as being old tires likely a bit out of balance. Tim was super friendly and helpful and sent us off in confidence with a goal to get some new tires when we reached our destination. I practically had to force him to take payment I offered for his time. Thanks again Tim!

I have been going to Tim's Auto Repair since I moved to Colborne in 2004. Excellent customer service and attention to detail with every appointment. I have been worked in for emergency service at busy times. Would definitely recommend Tim's Auto Repair.

I was driving from Toronto to Ottawa last week to with my family for a few days vacation. On the way, my engine check light lit up on the dashboard. I pulled into the Big Apple store and called CAA to get some advise. They recommended that I go to Tim's Auto repair as it was nearby and recommended by CAA. I drove over to Tim's and explained the situation. By that time, the engine check light had gone off - nonetheless, he quickly hooked up the engine diagnostic computer to my car and the computer said there was an airflow issue. He checked under the hood and everything seemed OK. He advised me that my car was likely roadworthy enough to make it to Ottawa and back without stranding us, but it should be looked at by my regular garage when I get back home. I went on my way to Ottawa and came back home yesterday; there were no issues with the car during the trip, but will get it checked out tomorrow. Its a 13 year old car, so could be a flaky sensor?

Anyways, just want to thank Tim for the quick and friendly service which he did not charge me for. The peace of mind that it gave me was invaluable, knowing that I could complete my trip with my family and not worry overly much about my car breaking down.

Found a nearly flat tire on our van as we left a nearby rented cottage for home. After being unsuccessful to inflate it at a gas station, and after a quick Google search, we went to Tim's to see if he could help. Although they were busy with other vehicles, Tim took the time to check it out and inflate the tire himself. He was super friendly, kind and had us on our way home in no time. Thank you Tim!

Merry Christmas to Tim and family! When our car broke down recently on the 401 near the Colborne exit, we sure were lucky to land on Tim’s Auto Repair. Once they had diagnosed our alternator problem with our 2009 Jetta, they speedily obtained the necessary parts and installed them right away. They could not have been nicer or more efficient. Would recommend HIGHLY. xxxx

Just got on 401, got a Tire pressure low warning. Got off highway, found nail in tire. Went to Tim's Auto. Tim immediately put truck on hoist, pulled (bolt) from tire, plugged it checked pressure in all tires. In and out in 15 minutes and very reasonable charge. Tim was courteous and efficient. If I didn't live 5 hrs from there I'd go there for all my automotive needs. I would highly recommend Tim's Auto Repair.

Tim and his team saved my butt when I was waylaid by freezing rain and terrible accident that closed the 401 back in February. They were so helpful, efficient, quick, kind and friendly. Tim found me a new rim and made my weekend possible. I am so, so impressed and thankful for these great folks. Thank you! Their services are highly recommended!

I've only lived in the area for about 2 years now moving from the GTA to Colborne. I was recommended Tim through a friend while looking for a honest mechanic which is hard to find these days. Tim and the gang seem like very friendly down to earth people polite and know how to do their job right the first time. I have a shop at my home and try to do as much work as I can myself as a hobby with vehicles and to save money but when there's a job I can't accomplish these guys can take care of it.

All the way from Australia on our Canadian adventure. Warning lights came up on our rental car dashboard and our car was very reluctant to start. We found Tim's on the map and headed over looking for a diagnosis. He and his team looked after us straight away. It was the battery. He located one for our vehicle at a cost effective price and fitted it. Thankfully we were able to continue on to Quebec. Great job guys.

Great job super fast putting my tires on. And super cheap I want one place to replace one lug nut they charged me $40. And then I went to these guys they replace two and only charged me $4.88. Very good place recommend to anybody

My son broke down on his way home to ottawa. Mark took his car in right away and within an hour, he was on his way home again. They took the time to help a student with his first car. Thank you so much for looking after my son. Would highly recommend this company.

Quick fast and easy service. They are very willing to discuss anything you want to I regards to your repairs and keep you up to date on a regular basis. Mine was an insurance claim and regardless of connection with the insurance company they still let me make every single decision. Great people there.
