Ancienne Prison de L'Orignal Old Jail

Small hitoric jail that fit around 40 inmates... 6$ for the tour.... very intersting that there are still ppl who visited who were actually jailed in it!

Great piece of history to visit! The guide was very informative and services are fully bilingual.

Has a great time investigating this location (CHAPS) Elliot was an excellent host and I hope my team will return in the not too distant future. If you do tour convened by Shadows of Yore, very learned on the topic and presented.

We have loved exploring old Jails/gaols in Ontario

A must see. The wife and I went today and it’s awesome. Our tour guide was amazing too, lots of knowledge on the history. I didn’t get her name though. We even caught some disembodied voices on the recorder saying “help me”. We heard a lot of other voices too. Overall a good place. I’d love to go at night and investigate.

Well worth a visit. The oldest prison in Ontario, They feature tours, escape rooms, Paranormal events and much more

Bel endroit à visiter. Notre guide racontait bien l'histoire de cette bâtisse. En comparaison avec la prison de Trois Rivières, cela était un peu moins impressionnant car beaucoup d'éléments "modernes "avaient été ajoutés dans les dernières années, ce qui enlève au cachet de la bâtisse.
Il y avait une activité de recherche paranormale prévue en soirée/nuit.

Visite intéressante bien expliqué par la Guide, plusieurs photos d époque, fait parti d un patrimoine que l on doit conserver..
