W.H.Tec Calgary Hot Water Tanks & Plumbing

So AWESOME! Our hot water tank started leaking and had to shut the water off. I quickly began looking for a new tank/repair person. Got a few quotes before calling W.H.Tec. Nik called me back and I explained the situation. He said he was just finishing up a job near by and offered to drop by and take a look. He showed up quickly, checked things out and gave me an estimate. The price was competitive but more amazing was he was able to get it done before his next appointment. WHAT? I agreed and he wasted no time getting a new tank, removing the old one and installing the new tank. Professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend them. Thanks Nik.

Had a hot water tank fail on me late at night, and Nik responded to my email right away and answered my questions and concerns. He gave me a quote for the work right away, and was able to install it just two days later!

The install he performed was of high quality and he even removed some old shark-bite fittings that were there previously.

What I really liked is that they noticed I had just put in new flooring, and as such, were very careful when bringing in my new tank and when taking the old one out. My hot water tank quit so I called my plumber and he said it's better to change it and not try to fix it. So, I called W.H. Tec, Nik was very helpful and asked for some photos. W.H. Tec provided the cheapest quote and next-day installation for a HWT replacement. They used a high-quality Bradford White tank. Booking with Nik was easy to deal with and the technician (Aaron?) went the extra mile to ensure quick and tidy work. Would use again.

Just had a conversation with Nic as I am starting to think about replacing my old tank. Exchanged some texts and pictures and after a few questions I had the quotes I needed to have a replacement tank delivered (planning to DIY install). Want to commend the responsiveness and knowledge. By the time I called Nick until he removed the old tank and completed installing a new one, it only took a couple of hours on the same day. Nick is the owner of W.H. Tec. He was patient with me and explained everything I need to know. The price and service are unbeatable compared to others. The best plumbing company I ve ever met.
My water heater failed to light couple days ago, a plumber came and relit it without replacing anything, instead, he tried to sell me a new tank. 2 days ago, the heater stopped working again. This time, I tried to fix it, but failed. And I called WH tec in the evening to have a new tank, Nick answered my phone and asked me every detail of my situation. Then we exchanged texts and pics. 1 hour later, I chose one tank and want it installed in the afternoon the next day (that's today).
Surprisingly, this morning, I got a call from Nick, he told me he had checked my model, and the tank is still well in its life spam, he could come and have a better look at my situation. And then he came 20 minutes later, and very quickly found the core problem-the switch tripped. After replacing the swith, the heater came back to life! Nick checked around the tank, and assured me the tank was still in good shape for at least 5 more years.
Wow, what Nick did is far better than what I expected, he saved me tons of money! Real money!

Nik was really great start to finish and he knows what he’s talking about. We had two 40 gallon tanks replaced Dec 2021, he improved the set-up making them a feeder system, and positioned them in way to maximize the space in our furnace room. I highly recommend Water Heater Tec.
