Sir Edgar House Bed And Breakfast

Sir Edgar is a little gem in Dauphin. It's a 100 year old house with all the charm you can imagine. Our host Cordell is super friendly and we enjoyed our conversations with him. The breakfast is remarkable and has great taste. There is a mini fridge, coffee machine, water (cold and hot) a TV and books in the living room.

This is our second year staying there and we are already making plans for next year as there are many attractions and activities nearby.

The room we choose is the main one with a terrace including a table and chairs, a main bed and a sofa bed in the room living room. A complete bathroom with shower door completes the experience.

The main room is facing the Main Street but it's quiet compared to city noises. There is a 7 eleven at 2 blocks and a Mr Mikes restaurant nearby with good options to lunch or dine.

This is a top notch bed and breakfast. The second floor suite facing the street is gorgeous and spacey. Cordell and his family are wonderful hosts. Anyone visiting the Dauphin, MB area, and or Riding Mountain National Park or Duck Mountain Provincial Park should consider this option.

It was a relaxing stay at Sir Edgar House BNB. The house is very cozy. Relaxing living room to read and have coffee. Bathroom is very clean. Soft bed. The owner is kind and polite. The house has interesting history. Overall it was a worth stay.

This is a real gem in the small city of Dauphin MB. I enjoyed meeting Mr. Lind and his robust dog George. The B&B is very pleasant, well furnished, comfortable and very quiet for a light sleeper like me. I had some travel issues and Mr. Lind was a big help with a smile. With a good breakfast and a fair price what's not to love? Definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful house, lovely room tasty breakfast, welcominng host - simply perfect

We had a great one night stay at this Bed and Breakfast. Friendly and down to earth host. Breakfast was great - omelette with ham and cheese, fried potatoes, toast. All the usual condiments. Nice jam for the toast. Yoghurt and berries. Coffee (with or without caffeine), several tea selections, and juices to complete the breakfast. They had a small minifridge that you could keep drinks or any food that you needed to. Water cooler with cold, hot or room temperature options and a keurig for your coffee needs. Nice big veranda out front with a couple Adirondack chairs. Living room with TV could be used by the guests- 3 rooms in this B and B. Our bed was very comfortable. Nice wardrobe in the room. We had a room that shared a bathroom with one other room - was a nice shower. The third room at this place has more space with an ensuite as well. Overall a great experience. Note that there are carpets throughout the 2nd floor with hardwood on the main floor. Nicely decorated. Lovely character home.

Sir Edgar’s B&B is a very special place! I always enjoy my stay here when I am out travel nursing in Prairie Mountain. This property is very homey and clean. Cordell and Loralyn are amazing hosts, they welcome you like family. I enjoyed every insightful and thoughtful conversations I had with them ( sometimes when I meet their other guests/travellers too). And yes of course, they also serve delectable and sumptuous breakfast!

Beautiful quaint old home...comfortable spacious rooms..delicious large breakfast (excellent coffee)...gracious host...and 3 lovely welcoming pets (Adorable George, Handsome Izzy, and Sweet Tai). We all had a wonderful time for the 3 nights we stayed. Oh...and Cordell, thanks again for the toothbrush that I didn’t pack!

Very clean, well-kept, and at a reasonable price. Has modern accommodations where it matters (water dispenser, master suite bathroom, etc.). Would definitely recommend.
