What a gem! I can't say enough good things about our experience. My family and I were visiting from out of town and looking for a coffee shop close to our Airbnb. We love to support local businesses and we thank our lucky stars we stumbled upon Blue Heron!

We easily found street parking a few steps away!

This is part coffee shop and part retail store. The ambiance inside is heavenly and there is even a sitting area which is a perfect place to enjoy your coffee, or wait for others who may be shopping around. They have a huge selection of olive oils, vinegars, kitchen items, and other goods.

I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and it was amazing! This is definitely going to be our coffee shop we come back to if we are in the area again. I highly recommend it - and we had the friendliest service and local recommendations! ❤

This place is absolutely a gem!!! The owners were kind, generous, and welcoming. They had adorable decor on display to purchase, the mocha latte was delicious, and they even handed out a sample of frozen yogurt that was the best I've ever tasted. At the end of our visit I was about to purchase dog treats and the owner gave me samples instead. My dogs loved them. I'll be a returning customer for sure! Thanks for the great experience 🙂

Such a lovely little shop! I got a tin of tea and some Blue Heron Poop hehe. I missed my chance to get a cup of something to drink but I certainly will not next time!

Lovely little novelty shop with coffee, fancy lattes, tea, hot chocolate, & snacks. Good prices. Beautiful clean rest room (photo). Cozy fireplace with a couple of couches. Not much more seating than that and table. We look forward to visiting again.

The atmosphere is so warm and cozy! It smells amazing as well. I can't wait to try my tea and stop in again for a coffee and muffin.

I have been living in Flat Rock for a year and never knew of this place! I am a new regular now : ) I hope my husband gets me gift cards for all special occasions! The coffee was excellent. I can't wait to go back and shop at their cute little store with high quality items!

Love love love it here! I have been enjoying some delicious dirty chai and today blew my mind with a refreshing peach smoothie! Blue Heron is is a must stop for some hot chocolate before enjoying the waterfront just down the street!

Very cute cafe and shop. The owners are very nice people as well. I love all the oils, jams, teas, etc you can buy and they also have a lot of fun jewelry and nicknacks for sale.

This store is a gem in the little downtown district in Flat Rock. They've got a huge selection of olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and all kinds of unique snacks. If you're looking for a specialty gifts, this is the perfect place. From cute tea pots and mugs to bags and jewelry. Oh, and there's ice cream too!

I just went into get a latte, but found so much more, they have a very nice variety of quality items! They have an awesome verity of Balsamic Vinegars, and they are soo good, I purchased 6 bottles! Thanks so much for a great experience, I will definitely come back again if I’m in the area!

Love this shop! A friend recommended it for their candles! It is a very quaint & awesome shop! I went there on my bday, & it could not have been more perfect! Love the candles I bought & the basket holder for them. Love the lotion made with goats milk!! I will be going back to sample some of the food items.

Met the owner as soon as I walked in. Friendly helpful guy. Very knowledgeable about the merchandise in the store. This place literally has soup to nuts lol. Lots of small batch and quality made products. Nice looking store, very tastefully put together. Bigger than it looks. Nice sitting area. Products are priced what you would expect for healthy, homemade, small batch goods. A few bucks for a hot drink, $9 homemade salsa, $16 for small batch healthy Balsamic vinegar that taste like the nectar of the gods. Worth checking out. Meet the owner, super nice guy.

Best coffees and teas around. Their oil and vinegar selection is amazing. Perfect place to find unique gifts for special people in your life. Owners are friendly, welcoming and always eager to help. A little gem in the middle of Flat Rock!

We've gone here many times! The staff is friendly, coffee is great, and prices are very reasonable. They also have lots of unique items for sale. I would definitely recommend them!!!
