I want to thank Michigan Memorial for all they had done for my family at the time of our loss of a family member. They were very helpful from the very first step of the process to the day of the funeral. They were there to answer all questions and were the extra set of hands on the day of viewing and service so we could just focus on family and visitors.
I can say they go above and beyond to make a sad day less stressful.

Michigan Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery are beautiful places to have your loved ones funeral & final resting place. We had our father's funeral here in June and he is buried at the cemetery. Caitlin Wright was absolutely amazing in the handling of the funeral arrangements to taking great care of our father. Everyone made the same statement that my mother gave our father the most beautiful funeral they have seen. It was a very difficult thing for our mother to do but Caitlin made it easier. I would highly recommend Michigan Memorial Funeral Home and the Cemetery!

I truly can't express my appreciation for the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. During the most devastating time of our lives, each and every employee that we came into contact with was exceptional and helped us through the process. The patience, kindness, and guidance they provided me and my children was amazing. The passing of my husband was sudden and we hadn't made any final life plans yet, so I had no idea where to start. Theresa never left my side, answered every question, and went above and beyond to make sure that I was informed and comfortable each step of the way. The staff also took care of every detail the day of the viewing and service so our family could remain focused on each other. This team is unmatched and I am beyond grateful for everything they did to help us.

We recently used Michigan Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery to lay my Brother to rest. Theresa was our Funeral Director and she was great working with us. Everyone at Michigan Memorial was thoughtful and helpful as we went through this difficult time. I would highly recommend Michigan Memorial if the need arises. I live over an hour away from Michigan Memorial Funeral Home and doing business over the phone with Jacob was very convenient. The funeral home is beautiful and clean with an accommodating eating area and flower shop. The biggest takeaway from working with the staff at Michigan Memorial is peace of mind. At Michigan Memorial, they worked with and for me to make my daughter’s funeral absolutely beautiful. They were kind and even went out of their way to find a flag blanket to cover my daughter. They did everything they could to accommodate us. They still keep in contact to see how I’m doing. I recommend MM 100%!

It’s odd to write a review on a funeral home but here we are. My brother Dan died from stomach cancer at age of 40. The cancer drastically changed his appearance. We were all nervous to see him appearance but were blown away by the incredible job done by the funeral staff. He looked peaceful and as if he was sleeping. Caitlin did a wonderful job and the rest of the staff was truly amazing during a horrible time for our family. I cannot say enough great things about this business. Thank you for everything you did for our family.

They have continued to keep in contact with me just to check in to see how I am doing which I truly appreciate. I cannot say enough about the entire staff and the services that were for my wife's funeral which was 1 month ago today. From the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home .Starting off with the phone call with Theresa Felts. She was so kind and considerate with our situation. And cleared a time slot for us to come and visit with her. We met with her the day after my wife's passing. she walked us through every step of the process ensuring that all of the decisions were to our liking. She was under a little bit of pressure with our service plans. Because we had to have her service in only a few days. Cause my daughter and husband were in the Military and in from San Antonio TX. Theresa had a conversation with Craig Roe. They were able to fit us in to very busy weekend. If you need to things done call and ask for Theresa Felts.Thank you again Theresa and Craig. On to the rest of the staff. Janina Matyasek the front desk attendant is such a nice and kind person to speak with on the phone and in person. She will make sure that you are directed to the right person to take care of all of your needs,. Awesome job Janina keep up the excellent work. Kathy Krebaun in the flower shop, worked on the casket blanket and the arrangement form me and my daughter. Her expertise and professionalism was on point.The flowers were perfect. Kathy, keep up the great work. Becky Clark who was the hostess handling all of the food and and preparation to make all of the guest feel comfortable and welcome. Awesome work Becky. Michael Powell was crucial part in assisting my daughter in getting my funeral preparation ready for my interment when the time comes, my daughter will be all set. If you also need to talk to someone ,Mike has a very listening ear. Thank you MIke for being there. Caitlin Wright was handling another service at the time of my wife's, but that did not stop her from making sure that we had everything taken care of. Now for the best part Denise Tucker who did my wife's service was so kind and she called and spoke to several people who gave her information about my wife life which she incorporated into the service. It was beautiful and perfect. Thank you again Denise for helping us memorialize my beautiful wife.They say that a funeral is the hardest part of life to go through. All I can say yes it is, if i didn't have the help, consideration and kindness that the entire staff at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home I would have been lost. One more time, I cant say Thank you enough for making my wife"s funeral perfect and Memorable. I would highly recommend you call them.

My husbands death was the most traumatic experience that I could ever encounter. When I contacted Michigan Memorial, the promptness, compassion and understanding of what I wanted for my husband was their priority. The morning of my husbands service I heard a new song by an artist I listen too. The song was perfect to say goodbye to him. I informed them one hour prior to my husbands service that I would like to play this song after his eulogy, very understanding and the song was added. Every request that I asked was done, to perfection. Death changed my husband’s appearance so much, that when I saw him for the last time, I was deeply grateful for the way he looked. That will be a lasting memory. Michigan Memorial continues to check up on me, there concern and compassion for my grief and healing is heartfelt. This experience however painful it was, allowed myself, family and friends to say goodbye to our loved one with peace in our hearts. My experience with Michigan Memorial will forever grateful to me.

I have dealt with Michigan Memorial Funeral home a few times, just recently & in the past. Whether it was the funeral home or cemetery, every employee was kind, knowledgeable & helpful. The funeral home, chapel & cemetery are all conveniently located on the grounds, no traveling on busy roads to get from one to another. Highly recommend doing business with them.

We had a sudden tragic death in the family and wanted it to be the most beautiful funeral for my sister. We met with the funeral director Jake g. He was able to help us plan the most amazing funeral while comforting all of us. They were very understanding with all requests we had and very accommodating of all of the guests as well. On top of the phenomenal service the place is gorgeous, not dark and Erie like other funeral homes. Also after the funeral going to pick up everything was super easy, they had everything together for us to sort through and pick up. Going through such a terrible time I’m glad we chose Michigan memorial. I will never take a loved one to another funeral home. It’s beautiful and the staff is amazing and know how to make such a difficult time a little easier.

The staff were very supportive and compassionate at our time of need. They were there for us as we said goodbye to my husband, father to our children and grandchildren. The staff has continued to show kindness to our family. Our family and friends want to say you for everything

I would just like to say that Michigan memorial has become family to me the unconditional and genuine love that they show my mother my grandmother my great grandmother my great-grandfather my great aunts and uncles my extended family her and her husband and many more family members have been treated and cared for more than respectfully and honorably an incredibly compassionate they are absolutely amazing every single one of the employees at the Michigan memorial home has shown me so much love and my family as well it was the hardest thing I ever had to do losing my mother and if it was not for McCully and Craig at the Michigan memorial home I think that this would have been so much harder on me for the love that they have shown my mother and how beautiful they made her in her passing oh my goodness thank you Macaulay you treated my mom like she was your very own mom what are you doing that you now are a sister to me in my eyes I think you and cannot thank you enough Michigan memorial for honoring my mother and each other family member the way that they did have been so many other funeral homes and it was nothing compared to the way that Michigan memorial handles and cares for each individual so very well you have to excuse me of this is all over the place people reading this I just lost my mother and Michigan memorial is exactly like I said where I took her where she was treated like the queen and amazing woman and Angel that she was and has been her entire life thank you thank you thank you thank you I cannot say thank you enough God bless you all at Michigan memorial it will definitely be my last stop
