Kring Point State Park is easily one of the top three parks you have ever been too.
Parking is ample.
Sites are close but all have water views.
Play ground and beaches to share for all.
Docking and boat launch for the water craft.
We stayed at spot 19 and the restroom was new and fantastic.
The check in person was pleasant. I also pre-registered and had a printout of it.
This a lot of exposed rock which looks amazing but can have an affect when pitching tents, be mindful.
I'll be back.

Kring Point State Park is the best family camping spot in the state if you're looking for an "old time" campground. Theres a playground, nature, abundance of water sites.... and quiet. Come watch the leaves move... and swim.

Absolutely gorgeous state park. We've stayed here twice and both times were spectacular. This is a must camp spot! Bring your fishing poles!!!

What a great park to camp during the Summer! You can find your family’s perfect site and enjoy the view of the river and the beauty of Canada across the water. Plan your stay in the thousand islands at Kring Point.

This is our new favorite campground. Our water site was perfect. Our kids were safe to scoot and ride bikes and met so many friends. The general store is an added plus plus plus! I don't want to say more than this, as to not give too many good things away!

My absolute favorite NYS park. I've stayed here many times. I love the cabins. The water is beautiful and having the convenience of bathrooms, showers and a small country store make glamping here enjoyable. The fishing is great too!

We usually stay at a different park, but we tried out this one this year. What a gem! It's a little ways away from Alexandria Bay and Clayton but it's on a peninsula which means breeze all around. Almost all the sites have water view. It has a sandy beach, a rocky cove, a boat launch and the separate Morgan Island for exploration. They do trash pick up right at your site two to three times daily, and the bathrooms are pretty clean (the one by the beach needs renovation, but it's kept clean for the most part, even with the short staff this year). We still be back!

My family has camped at Kring Point for 4 generations. The sites are generally large and most offer some shade. The restrooms have been updated in the past few years and there is now a laundry room so you don't have to drive to A Bay. If you're looking for a place to take your kids, this is it! Unbeatable 💚

I am a huge supporter of the NYS Parks system. Kring Point is a great testament to how great our parks are in NY. The sites facing the main shipping channel offer great views of passing ships and sunsets. The sites facing Goose Bay offer a look and a much calmer bay secluded from the main shipping channel. My preference is the sunset so I'd recommend reserving a site facing West.

Very friendly staff. They picked up our trash from our site the last day of our stay. My friend's car battery died and they jumped the car and had him on the road in 10 minutes tops. I am already planning my return for next year!

The best NYS park EVER! I hate to tell anyone that because it gets harder and harder to get sites. This is a rustic state park. It was once a cow pasture. It is NOT a RV park with parking lot style sites. Sites are grassy, rocky and hilly. They are all different sizes. The bonus is that even if you are on an interior site (not on the water) you can usually see water either the River or Goose Bay. The kayaking and fishing opportunities are plenty! The staff is the best. They are like family! I have camped at Kring Point for over 40 years. My family had camps in Kring's Mobile Park but I still camped in the the state park! I am still friends with peope I met there 35 years ago!

The bath houses have been upgraded but we are all waiting for the beach bathhouse to get it's turn. The newest bath house has full bathrooms (family style) and only six of them. This can become a problem during busy times. If people are showering you wait or drive to another bath house. Nice that it has the laundry but since I tend to camp in the region of this bath house I would have preferred a just toilet section!

There has been an uptick of rude campers in the past 5 to 10 years. Folks that do not have any park edicate. This is more a problem if you are on a water site! However, for each of the rude people you get 5 great camper neighbors that are helpful and fun. This park and area of the River is home for me!

Beautiful State park. Well maintained. Restrooms are very nice. Boat launch and docking right within the park and the beautiful 1000 islands! Highly recommend

We went for a day trip to go fishing, have lunch and generally enjoy the great view of the river.
Tons of camping areas a nice little beach, but the best for us is the little day use island. Picnic tables a trail and no bugs.

I had site 80. Waterfront. Quaint and relaxing. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the cliffs. A few docks and trails are on site if you are in for a nice scroll. Nice campground over all. Very comfortable. Swimming, biking and fishing are great all over the place. Bathhouse is clean however the restrooms are iffy. Not a negative thing. I'll be back! 🌻

I'll have to update this because we just started our weekend here but so far this place is awesome! Super friendly grounds-keeper helped us get out camper trailer situated (boondocking). Very scenic and quiet (probably less quiet during the summer when the kids are out).
Bathrooms are very nice. Gender neutral with a toilet and shower in them.
We'll do more exploring tomorrow.
