MORE Cafe & Bakeshop

Ordered a last minute bday cake and it was a delicious 4” choc ganache. Service was very friendly and helpful! The petit pain au choc was a good size for sharing (but I ate it all! Perfect texture and right amount of choc) thank you to both of you!

I recently returned to Gibsons for a visit after over one handful of years, and could not resist a tour de café as apparently that is what I would do in Gibsons. A small place, there are usually tables occupied but somehow one also usually available - which promotes a cozy atmosphere within what I might refer to as an aesthetically compelling environment. From time to time, there is even a to go line up, which always moves along with smiles. The fellow behind the counter recognized me after all those years and enquired as to what I was up to (so rare a pleasant social experience for many years). I could not order anything but what I once did; an Americano. It was produced of quality efficiently and expertly, so much so, that when I sat down and took a sip, I slipped into the most incredibly satisfying solitary cafe experience, the same one that then was retrieved from my memory of MORE in that moment while of the past. The top of the list anywhere. Another table was chatting with the proprietor behind the register and espresso machine, and More's pleasant community was once again also experienced....
Later that day, I stopped by a local competitor - a different vibe, and sat briefly outside. A woman at the patio table next to me was emphatically announcing the quality of the baking at MORE. That evening, I told my mother I had been at MORE that day. "Their double baked croissants are incredible!" "Yeah," I recalled to myself, "if you can work off the calories." Simply that unique and equisite a confection. They are both correct. Next time I will remember to have a croissant with the transcendental coffee experience.

Such a great place for coffee and treat. Friendly owners, cute interior, and spacious (dog friendly!) patio. Selfishly, I wish they had more than one vegan item because all of their baked goods look DELICIOUS. But for now, I’ll happily continue to enjoy their morning glory muffin.

Highly recommend. Much better and healthier than that fast food garbage.

Stopped by this little cafe for a quick bite and everything was so delicious! We had this breakfast Danish thing (can't remember if that is the actual name of it) but it was really yummy pastry with bacon and egg... i liked it so much i had a second one. We also had a morning glory muffin, blueberry scone and turkey sandwich and we loved all the items. The guy there was also quite nice.

Ordered delicious pastries and Mocha coffee. Extremely friendly staff with a team of regular customers filling the cafe. A bit pricey but that is reflected in the quality of the product and is worth it.

This is my favourite coffee shop in Gibsons.

Lovely! We made excellent choices with the double baked croissants, cinnamon buns, cinnamon twist, chocolate peanut butter banana muffin, and morning glory muffin! Worth the drive from Sechelt.

My husband and I ate visiting Gibson’s this week. We selected this shop as the one to try and we were so pleased. The coffees are very good as are the muffins. My husband said this is one of the best muffins he’s very had. I had the twice baked chocolate croissant and it was good.
If we lived here, this would be our place.

What a little gem! The double baked almond croissants were positively life altering. The beef sausage role is the best I've ever had. I wish I bought MORE. Great coffee. Lovely people and service. Overall fantastic little cafe.

This stop on our way to the Langdale Ferry, turned out to be incredible choice. We split a latte, which was carefully crafted. I had a blueberry scone and my husband enjoyed the morning glory muffin. Both were exquisite, soft, fluffy centers loaded with fruit and crispy outsides. Yum. Lots of chain coffee shops nearby which I recommend you skip for MORE.

Great spot! Open early, fresh baked goods, great coffee and excellent service. I had an Americano with a chocolate peanut butter banana muffin and it was amazing. See you tomorrow morning!

Great food and treats... All made from scratch on the premises. We stopped in quickly before we had to head of for the ferry. Now we are waiting to board the ferry and just finished eating our sausage roll, ham and cheese croissant and morning glory muffin and wish we could turn around for more!!! Stock up if you pop in... You won't be sorry!!! 😁 😁 😁 xxx

Literally the nicest owners! They are such lovely people, and really go out of their way to make you feel at home in their bakery. Food is also delicious - breakfast pastries, double baked chocolate almond croissant, turkey and Brie sandwich ...yum!

Amazing little place. Definitely worth a visit. Not sure why it's not mentioned, but the turkey cranberry croissant sandwich is one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had. Fresh baked croissant with real pieces of turkey, brie and homemade cranberry mayo. Drooling just thinking about it.

Came for the double baked almond croissant and it stayed with me since. A wide array of options of baked goods, warm meals, and drinks. I wish I tried their peanut butter muffin!

This is the best bakery ever - croissant cooked by a native frenchman - and baked goods as if you have never tasted before. Make sure you check it out if you live on the coast or if you are visiting for the day - plus great coffee and teas to refresh you. And the bonus is outside seating when the weather is dry. And warm friendly staff!!!!!
