The service was exceptional. The food was just as amazing! We shared the scallop and pork belly appetizer and we each had one drink. Highly recommend the scallops and pork belly. I had the catch of the day, the cod and my girlfriend ordered the beef dish. Both were delicious. The beef came out a touch rare but that's how I like it!
The view was amazing! We went on a weekday for dinner at 7pm so it wasn't as busy but the tables started to fill as we left and the sun was setting. I recommend making a reservation for the patio for the best ambiance.

Honestly the best breakfast spot in Gibsons. People are sleeping on this restaurant.

Good service, amazing food, big portions, reasonably priced. Great Benny! Pork hock is like smoked pulled pork. Thick cut bacon is delicious. Chicken and waffles are amazing. Good Caesar ;)

If I could, would rate 10 stars! Opted to have brunch here for the most perfect mother's day weather during our stay in Gibsons. Lovely patio area with the best view in Gibsons! The food was wonderful and beautifully presented! Mimosas were equally as awesome with pineapple, grapefruit and OJ options. They were even so kind as to give us one of the best tables on the patio! Don't miss this spot if you're visiting the area! Reservations highly recommended in the nicer months! Bill was about $90 CAD for 3 meals/drinks.

Had the pork tomahawk main and the pork belly & scallops as a side. Both were fantastic. The service was great and the view from the patio was beautiful. Mainly heard good things about their brunch, but their dinner is excellent as well.

Stopped in for some brunch during a visit to Gibson. Got the big breakfast and the ham hock benny. Unexpectedly some of the best breakfast we’ve had in years. Wonderful service, great ambiance, would love to come back for dinner.

Went for breakfast after arriving in Gibson's. We had the eggs Benny and the classic breakfast. Both were very good. Service was courteous but a bit slow as there was only one server. It just gave us more time to enjoy the beautiful view on the patio. Will definitely be back.

Dinner at Drift is one of my favourite places on the Coast! Tim, the owner, is so thoughtful and helpful and the food is incredible every time. Don't miss this spot, especially during winter when you're looking for a delicious (and creative) meal - you'll leave feeling completely satisfied every time and you'll get to enjoy high quality local ingredients, as well as a solid cocktail and local craft beer list. Fantastic Ceasar too. 10/10.

went for brunch twice in three days!

the bacon eggs benedict is SOOO good; bacon was thick, perfect eggs, hollandaise sauce was so delicious, roasted potatoes were crispy and soft, and salad was light and fresh and helped cut any richness. I felt very content at the end of the meal, and it wasn’t too heavy. service was great too! owner is very friendly.

also, a gorgeous view of the water to be enjoyed.

Completely enjoyed our lunch at Drift. Our server (one of the owners) Stephanie was delightful. Interesting menu, cool space (kitchen is on the floor below and food is sent up via dumbwaiter), beautifully presented and prepared food. Fantastic and very thorough Covid protocols, including a tray on each table with a note explaining processes. Totally impressed, and already looking forward to our next visit.

We'll come back to Gibsons just to eat here again! It was succulent, from starter to dessert. The service was also genuinely sweet, which made a real difference for us. The view is splendid too. This restaurant is like a journey on its own.

Fantastic! We made a reservation for a family get together at The Drift and it was a wonderful experience. The waitress was so nice, patient and attentive despite having to scale an outdoor staircase with each order! The food was outstanding. It was presented beautifully and everything tasted awesome. The whole group of 6 was happy with every dish. We will absolutely be back next time we're on the Sunshine Coast.

Wow amazing food!! I was shocked how great the food was! Pulling up I didn't know what to expect, Awsome food & staff very friendly. I would recommend to all my friends & family. Small little place didn't know we should have made a reservation but there was room at the bar so we sat there. Top notch place!

Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in, quick and genuinely friendly service. The coffee was really tasty, and all the food was amazing, especially the bacon. Unfortunately they were out of a few ingredients but it did not affect our amazing experience. Very glad we decided to stop by it was the highlight of our dining experience in Gibson's.

The brunch here is amazing. Ordered the eggs benedict, the eggs were perfectly poached, the potatoes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The panchetta cuts the sweet biscuit nicely, neither overpowering the other. Definitely a must when on the sunshine coast. Make sure to potentially make a reservation though, as it's a very quaint bistro that fits roughly 22 people.

Chicken was truly amazing ! Waffles were pretty good! Only thing that could make it better would be a drizzle of maple syrup !

Fantastic dining experience at Drift. Shared a number of dishes among three people: ceviche, salad, potatoes, cauliflower and the tomahawk pork. All were very good, particularly the pork. Service was professional even from the staff member whose first day on the job it was.

Had the 2 egg breakfast, incredible value. Friendly professional service. Food was absolutely incredible. You can taste the care and talent that goes into each ingredient. Will definitely be back.

The sweetness of the biscuit against the tartness of the hollandaise was delicious. Yummy bacon!!
