Perfect little museum for this town. Admission is by donation and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed looking at all the exhibits and reading about the history. There is also a corner dedicated to the Beachcombers!

Stopped in as I had a few hours to kill waiting for my ferry, and did not regret it! A good variety of interesting exhibits, clear and well laid out. Learned a lot about the history of the region, including Indigenous populations. Particularly enjoyed the display about Helen McCall's photography. Staff was helpful and friendly, and there's a small gift shop. I definitely recommend stopping in if you have the chance!

This is a small museum but packed full of interesting items that tell the story of Gipsons Landing extremely well. It is a must see for Beachcombers fans . The displays are well described and easy to follow.
It is free with donations box.

Wow, we were very pleasantly surprised! It looks small from the outside but jam-packed full of history of the village and the First Nations.

A wonderful little museum showcasing the history of Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast.
Probably took us an hour to slowly wander around the museum taking everything in.
Admission is by donation, and they have a small gift shop with local gifts and books.

Crams a lot of history into a small space, but doesn't feel cluttered. Handles sensitive topics - residential schools, Japanese internment - carefully and respectfully

What a lovely way to end our trip! I only wish I could go back more often to really take in each item. I was so impressed with how fancy some of the antiques are! You might think that people living so far from a city in such an era would have more rustic homes, but I guess if you have the money in any era you buy what you can to make your life more enjoyable! The embroidered speaker, beautiful kitchens, and photographs of old students are so charming! I wish the museum sold more prints of the steamship tours ads! They would make fabulous magnets!!!!

A lot of the history ofGibson's and the Sunshine coast are at this museum. The people who work there are super friendly. It's only by donation, but I suggests to give at least 5$. They have a lot of materials to see. Really nice activity to do with your friends and your family.

Lovely museum. Small, but full of interesting exhibits. Even some hands on items for kids to touch. Entry by donation, so it won't break the bank. And has an elevator for those with mobility issues and strollers

We just visited museum two days ago and spend there much longer than we expected. It's a smaller and cozy museum with sooo much to see and learn. We loved the exhibitions so much, and found them not only interesting but some of them truly inspiring. If you're on Sunshine Coast, we recommend you to spare some time to visit this gem. You won't regret :) Thank you Matthew for the warmest welcome. Martina & Lex

This museum is a little gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you enter you are greeted by friendly staff and an amazing assortment of artifacts and treasures from the history of the area.

Highly recommended for all age groups!
