Éco Spa Highland

What a fantastic weekend getaway. The owner’s relaxed but efficient vibe really trickles down into the resort. It’s a a secluded small resort that is very relaxing and has a spa just big enough that allows you to do some hot-cold circuits, all the while enjoying a beautiful view. The dinners were quite tasty and the live music really hits the experience out of the park. Highly recommended for an enjoyable weekend to disconnect and reconnect.

Amazing place to enjoy quiet, nature, beautiful views and the dinner was amazing as the owners sang songs, and played piano. If low key nature is what you need, we would highly recommend it, And we will be going back. 🙏 Thanks for a very memorable afternoon and amazing evening. Chris and Gillean

This place is an absolute gem.
Every aspect of this place is impeccable.

Highly recommend the chalet (deluxe suite) if it’s available.
The dining menu and experience is top notch.
Philippe ( the proprietor) and his partner often perform live music in the evening.

Superb site and installations (baths, sauna, tents, etc.).

The owner is dedicated, accommodating and friendly.

The homemade food is delicious, nothing to envy from a good restaurant.

A great place to relax and disconnect as there is not a lot of guests. Dinner was excellent - we had braised beef and ribs. The view was fantastic, the pools and saunas were great. The hot room was so peaceful with a great view of the forest. Our room was spacious and well appointed.

This place has a fantastic view! It’s perfect to be surrounded by nature, relax in the spa and the food is very tasty as well. Can’t beat the service, top!

Quite the drive up with lots of gravel roads that are not the best maintained at times, and lots of up and down hills, but it’s all worth it when you get to the top and see the view from the lodge/spas.

Love how it’s a very small building so you can enjoy the spa/stay as it’s very peaceful and quiet there. A great place as a romantic getaway for couples!

Summer was nice but we personally think it’s be much nicer in the fall with the leaves changing colours and cooler weather to enjoy the fireplaces in the glamping tents!

Overall a great experience! Will definitely come back in the fall again in the near future :)

A great experience overall. The staff are very friendly and aim to please at all times. The rooms were comfortable and quite roomy. The only downfall is the really tight and windy dirt road to get to the spa. That said, you cant blame the resort for that. Overall we were very pleased with the experience. Highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem with the most wonderful people. The entire place is very well maintained and the views are absolutely beautiful. Dinner is accompanied with an amazing piano performance. Everything feels so cozy and the staff at this family-run place is incredible. That is why we keep coming back!

What a wonderful oasis, atop a beautiful mountain! The warm and friendly staff are exceptional hosts. Make sure to stay for dinner--which was a delicious plate of homemade "fine dining", followed by live music! The spa was restful and clean (what else can you ask for?) and I hear the massages are incredible. Tip: expect to use your GPS to find it, and the hill is a bit hard to climb. Keep an eye out for the spa's black-and-white signs nailed to trees.

Lovely and romantic relaxing hilltop get away with a beautiful view. Peaceful spot with 3 different outdoor tubs and many lounge areas overlooking a gorgeous mountain and valley. Perfect place to getaway from busy life and relax

Live music at dinner and service is the cherry on top. Facilities are clean and calming.

A wonderful spot for a romantic getaway!

We stayed in the deluxe suite which has spectacular views out of the floor to ceiling windows. On a clear night we could lie in bed and stargaze out the window. This room also has a fireplace and plenty of wood/kindling to keep a fire going for most of our 2 day stay.

There are two hottubs, a sauna (with a separate relaxation room overlooking the forest), and a cold water pool. Even though there were a number of other guests, it never felt overcrowded, with most of the other couples keeping to themselves and respecting the quiet atmosphere.

We also enjoyed the short hiking trail in the woods behind the hotel.

The one shortcoming was the food - which was a bit overpriced for what it was, and a bit on the bland side. The dinners generally consisted some meat option (we had cedar plank salmon and filet mignon - both were excellent) with rice and vegetables - which were rather bland and overcooked. Breakfasts are cold only (you can heat in a microwave or toaster oven). The cold breakfasts detract a bit from the overall feeling of luxury. That said, given the isolated location and the constraints that imposes on food service, i think they strike a nice balance that works.

The owners give a live music performance during dinner every night, which we really enjoyed. They're very good musicians!

You can tell that this spa is not just a business for the owners - it's a labor of love that they've poured themselves into. That committment and love permeates the atmosphere, which makes everything feel special.

This a wonderful gem of a place. It is small and not crowded. The saunas and pools are lovely - the staff are amazing - the food is tasty. The views are spectacular - even on a snowy icy day - so peaceful. It is inviting and unpretentious. At dinner, we were utterly charmed by the best version of A-HA's Take Me On - piano and singing. Highly highly recommend. Perfect 24 hours before getting back into the fold.

A slice of heaven

Eco Spa is the very definition of boutique hotel with maximum 20 guests at a given time. On average, I suspect no more than 10 guests in this sprawling property. The landscape is stunning and so is the Deluxe suite. The service we received from the owner Phillipe and Pam at front desk was very warm. Despite minimal staffing, they are accommodative of our request during our stay.

We actually had booked the room when the hotel is supposedly closed that day - however Phillipe still honoured the reservation which we are very thankful.

This is a gem of a hotel and we will definitely be back for a future stay at Eco Spa Highland.

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience. We felt so welcome by each member of the staff. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The meals are wonderful. We will definitely be back again and again. We will think of you every time we hear "purple rain". Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very quite remote mountain paradise. If you need to unwind, relax and enjoy nature this place is perfect. We booked the private chalet and it was amazing. Very romantic and private. Hot tubs are situated with views overlooking mountains and beautiful forests. Food is excellent prepared like any fine dining restaurant. Owners were very sweet, welcoming and accommodating. I had a massage by Susan and it was very relaxing. Great place for a night or two. Road to get there is bumpy so drive slow. Worth the trip.

Excellent place. Located in a fairly remote spot up a mountain road, this is a great place to go to just get away and relax. Very calm atmosphere, great service and great staff. The installations are very clean and the view from the deluxe room is breathtaking. The food was very good and overall this was a great value when comparing to other spas. We very much enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back in the future.

We would like to thank the entire staff for an incredible anniversary weekend! My wife and I had an amazing time at eco spa highland. The location was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely return!
