Ofuro Station Zen

A quiet and peaceful spot, ideal place for a little disconnect from a busy life. Massage was superb, Nadine has a very experienced touch. BTW I really appreciated the music, unusual for a massage space but deeply relaxing.

It was our second time going to this spa. The location is perfect it is surrounded by mountains, trees and a river that just passes through the location. So relaxing , quiet and clean 😊

Warm and professional service, excellent masseuses, beautiful woodsy location, so much beauty to look at!

It's an amazing place right on the river, and offers a variety of hot and cold soaking tubs, wet and dry sauna, massage, and meditation room. It's soooo relaxing

I really enjoyed my experience, it's a spa in the woods literally, so you feel in nature and disconnect (my favorite is the tiny river and dipping in it). It's low key, decent size too. The message therapists we had were excellent. I think some bad reviews are a little unfair, it does need a bit of love/care but I wouldn't rate it less than 4 stars

It is rated as a 2-star hotel, but make no mistake, their service is 5 star! Zeina and the team we're extraordinary friendly and welcoming. Cynthia and Jean Phillip performed excellent massages, erasing all of our stress and aches. The grounds are clean and relaxing, giving you the choice of being among people or more secluded areas if needed. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Zen experience at Orufu

This is by far my favourite spa! We drive from Ottawa to spend well our deserves rest time there. It not overly crowed, have river access for cool off and have nice seating arrangements inside and outside. And don't get me started on the steam and dry saunas... Just amazing! 100% recommend!

Just wow! Ofuro is an exceptional spa, you’re taken care of from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredible. I had a massage with Jean- Philippe and it was the best massage I’ve ever had, it felt like a mix between Swedish and deep tissue, he caters to your preferences - Oh and the massage table was heated!! The property is beautiful and I really enjoyed the silent zone areas! Don’t hesitate to go to Ofuro, 10/10 experience!

I’ve loved coming here for the past decade! An amazing sanctuary - definitely getting a bit older looking, but still great hot tubs, saunas, outdoor seating nooks and the river is magical

This place is amazing! It's right on the river, and offers a variety of hot and cold soaking tubs, wet and dry sauna, massage, and meditation room. It's soooo relaxing. There's even a little bistro bar on site for food. We got married here (small ceremony with 4 people) and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We look forward to coming back soon!

We enjoyed the relaxing day at Ofuro. it is a spa in natural surroundings, with several “huts” ( saunas, lounges and steam rooms) connected with wooden passes, jacuzzis, access to a river/creak for cold plunges, outdoor seatings by fire places, - overall a nice laid back atmosphere. I actually like their “weathered” saunas wooden interior, it fits a Japanese wabi-sabi concept, and the stuff keeps the place clean. Yes, there is some minor maintenance needed, like a door in one of saunas doesn’t close properly and creates airleak; and when we arrived the driving up the hill, their parking lots and walking paths around the main building were very slippery. Otherwise- we love the concept, the people at the reception are pleasant and welcoming. We will be back.

We visited Aug 5, 2021 with another couple. They had been there twice before. We had a fantastic day. The weather was great.
The spa is very well located up north.
The place is in good maintenance. The staff were very nice and helpful. I like the wood fireplace and the smell of the smoke makes you really feel you are in the country.
We will return.

I booked a massage for Tuesday and unfortunately they mistakenly made the appointment on Thursday. In fairness, I should have checked the confirmation email they sent me…

When I showed up on Tuesday ready for my massage, and they realized the mistake, they didn’t have anyone who could take me. BUT instead of sending me home, they called one of their amazing massage therapists (Mélanie) and she came in! I was able to get a great massage and enjoy a few blissful hours at the spa - a first for me, as a new mom. Thank you Ofuro!

Amazing experience at Ofuro Station Zen once again. Please come in winter to enjoy a true Nordic spa experience, enjoying the hot baths while the snow is coming down on you, magical !! The atmosphere in the middle of the trees is very calm and perfect for a relaxing experience, and the overall design of the place is super exotic with a mix of Asian inspired statues, decorations and buildings, feels like being on a trip already when you get there. Got a therapeutic massage with Marie-Andrée as well. Highly recommend !!

Usually one of our favorite go to spas in Laurentides had been Bagni spa. But since it was closed due to renovation, we were in a lookout of another similar nordic spa and that's when we found this hidden gem. The place is very clean and quite offering different baths and sauna experiences. Highly recommended!!

I've come here 3 times in the last 2 years and will likely return next time I'm in the area.

The baths are excellent, the massages great, and the natural setting beautiful. The decor is eclectic, but overall the experience is excellent and the price is good.

I recommend coming for an afternoon/evening at the spa as this is when it's at its most peaceful. Brave souls should try dipping in the river in the winter!

A lovely spa complex, lots of room and little corners to explore, integrated into the forest at its borders. Very clean and well maintained facility. Kitschy decor that just adds to the charm. The staff was attentive, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed back to back amazing massages from Sébastien. A beautiful space in the forest! Highly recommend! We will definetly being going back!

Loved this spa. When we got there it was pouring rain, but to be outside in a hot tub, it felt wonderful. It has hammocks in the trees which gives a nice serene feel. Many different grades of heated hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms. The river dip I loved the best, it is a nice cool down. Would go again. Can go for $25 for the day if you bring your own towels. Must bring sandals too.

Out of 7 SPAs we visited past year, we find Ofuro the most cozy, conveniently planned and relaxing. Deeped in the nature, the entire situation inspires you for full relaxation and complete resetting.💯💪👍🙏

We had a wonderful time here on a -20 day in January. It was a quiet Monday so we had just a few other guests with us. Heated Pools were very nice to relax in as were the steam rooms and dry saunas with large windows. I think what sets the spa apart from their competition is the Zen decor and the attention to detail they put into each of their comfort relaxation rooms as well as offering complementary fruit and tea a very nice touch for their guests.
